  • What Bundll is

  • -1

My guess is most OzBargainers who are very careful with their finances won't qualify for Bundll's demographic, which is people who can't manage their money properly. Their systems are actually quite good at excluding people that they won't make any money from!

Good deal by OP but - vote due to problems with Bundll

    • they make their money from the kickbacks the retailers provide, no?

      • +3

That's AfterPay. Bundll makes their money from merchant fees and late fees (missed repayment $10, 'snooze' voluntary late repayments $5, or 'superbundll' payment plans).

        • So their product is just a credit card but with 14 days interest free instead of the standard 30 that most banks provide? Why would anybody sign up to this!

          • @malich: less credit reporting / requirements, i think. hence the demographic

          • +3

@malich: You can pay it off by a CC, additonal interest free days on top of a CC.

          • -3

@malich: If you qualify for a credit card, you probably don't qualify for Bundll

        • They also make from interchange differential - apparently their card is a "premium" one, so depending on how many items in a Bundll, there can be margin in that (although I can't really see how)

They make you think the service is free, and paid for by retailer, but if you listen to their investor presso they clearly value customer data more.

The old saying, if you’re not paying for the product you are the product.

Limit increase is not available, which sucks.

You might be stuck in $180 limit, and yet it sends out marketing email to tell you to use it at JB HiFi, etc.

      • +1

I agree, I've been repaying earlier in most cases and the limit they gave me is $500 and when I contacted customer service for an increase after 4 months or so using them (which other company zip, afterpay etc increase automatically/give you the option once you've been paying on time consecutively) they just said no and for me to apply for the superbundll which I don't want to as that requires a credit check. Ever since zippay introduced their tap and pay I've switched over to them. Nonetheless, both still good options to have as a backup when you're tight that week.

    • Untrue, I've posted multiple Bundll deals in the past, and many ozbargainers have qualified. This isn't the best deal though, there's a $10 sign up bonus still active I think that can be used anywhere.

      • Do you need to sign up with a special promo code for this deal… or the bonus credit gets applied to any purchase?

        • Can't remember - see the specifics of the deal
