I think its cheaper on JB-HIFI and HN.

Yup, $229 and $224 respectively. But if you have UniDays, 10% off this price.

      • How are you getting a UNiDAYS discount with JB or HN!?

        • +1

It's 10% off with Booktopia hence 'this price'. $229 now, so $206.

      • Cheers. Didn't realise Unidays discount stacked!

I'm waiting for Kobo or Kindle to have a usb-c port before I upgrade from my paperwhite. I want faster charging, and also to throw my micro-usb cables out.

I wouldn't get my hopes up, since e-readers are supposed to be a budget machine. Doubt they will implement fast charging, usbc is always possible tho.

I've tried a few other e-readers, but this Libra H20 is the first one that has been a keeper for me. Very comfortable to hold, includes screen rotation etc. One of the best features is that it can be linked with your Pocket account to download saved articles.

    • Totally agree. I was reluctant because I owned a Kobo Clara HD already, but I'm now very happy using the Libra H2O. The larger screen size, grip bar and page turn buttons made reading much more comfortable and enjoyable
(Tho I still use my Clara HD when I need a smaller, more pocketable device)

    • I am tossing between a kindle paperwhite and a kobo libra, do you know if the kindle app is the same on the devices or any proprietary app that are on kindle? Thx

Ordered this on 30 Nov and it's still "Processing". Don't think I'll ever buy from Booktopia again. Their distribution centre is in Sydney too…

    • We are on the same boat, and yeah Booktopia never again…

      • I've messaged then 4 times and have had the same generic thing said to me:

I'm so sorry your order hasn't been dispatched yet, this is very unusual. I've flagged this with our Distribution Team to investigate further and resolve, and I've also upgraded the shipping to Express Post at no extra cost to ensure this order reaches you ASAP once it's shipped.

I'll keep a close eye on this and be in touch if there are any other issues, otherwise we'll ship the order ASAP and send you an email with the tracking details.

In the end I told them to cancel my order because I know it's not going to come.

        My final correspondence with them:

        Thanks for contacting us.

I'm very sorry that your order hasn't been dispatched yet. I've reviewed the order and can certainly see that this should have been shipped a while ago.

I've made contact with our warehouse team and I'll get back to you shortly to advise you of the outcome.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused in this matter.

Six hours later…Still nothing. So I replied to the email letting them know I have still not received an update and told them to cancel the order.

Got a response an hour later and they were more than happy to cancel the order and refund me. Of course, now I'll have to wait for the refund.

Being the petty person that I am, I'm going to smear them on their FB page to let others know.

I think the fact that nobody thought it would be a good idea to let me know that a delay was happening (I mean I kind of gathered from the nearly 2 weeks of no updates) was what really got to me. They don't deserve business.
