The wine details:
Story: Sourced from premium South Australian regions, this Chardonnay is made in a fresh, modern style.

Vintage: The 2019 growing season started with mild weather and below average rainfall. Some late spring rain provided a bit of relief from the dry conditions. A heatwave in January was luckily too early in the ripening cycle to cause any damage to the fruit. This was followed by a very mild and dry finish to the vintage, allowing good hang time and flavour development to the smaller than average crop.

Nose: The nose offers subtle, elegant aromas of freshly picked green apples, as well as citrus notes of oranges and lemons.

Palate: The palate is a well-balanced with tasty flavours of apples and lemons, complemented by crisp acidity on the refreshing palate.

Pairing: Try this wine with a chicken and spring vegetable risotto.Or just on the deck with a good book!

Cellaring: Drink now to 2024

    Doing yourself a disservice on how cheap it is (~$6.58/bottle delivered).

    One case of this, with another of cleanskin Sem/Sav Blanc from your in-laws at a similar price & Summer BBQ whites sorted for a very tidy price :-).

      In fairness,both calculations are right.

      $6.583/btl in a case of 12
      $7.5 in a case of 6.

      In the interests of transparency I tend to go with the higher number when quoting single bottle prices.

      Probably a longer drinking window too on this as a younger, fresher wine.

      A new white release coming soon too. Watch this space. :-)
