Cheers notYuna.

First post, go ham.

Pretty decent price for a relatively new game, considering the price at JB is at $90. While I haven't played it yet, I have heard the story is top notch but the gameplay can be hit or miss.

I have heard the story is top notch

    You heard right.

but the gameplay can be hit or miss.

I quite enjoyed the gameplay, quite similar to tower defence games on smart devices, but I can see why it may not be enough for some.

Overall, if you're at all interested in sci-fi, give it a go.
P/s: lots of references to sci-fi movies too.

    • Yeah I ended up buying it, I generally love Atlus' games, so I never really stood a chance lol

Worth noting that Atlus didn't make this, only published.

It was made by Vanillaware, who also made Dragon's Crown and Muramasa.

Ah damn, re-reading that does imply I meant they made it doesn't it, whoops

That'll teach me not to post shit without having a coffee beforehand hahaha, cheers for catching that!

            @zekamashi: LOL all good!

I know some people bought this because they saw Atlus and thought "oh it must be like persona!"

So just in case you weren't aware 😂

Damn, I bought this a couple of weeks back from EB for $70 and haven't started it yet.

    Good find OP.

thanks was going to buy at eb games but sold out everywhere near me pretty much.

Recently finished this game and thought it was awesome - a real hidden gem.

The story is excellent, the fact that they were able to pull off a 13-character, non-linear, sci-fi mystery this well is kind of amazing. The real-time strategy portion of the game is quite good too, it starts off a bit slow as it introduces mechanics to you, but then gets more complex over time (particularly if you play on the hard difficulty mode, which I recommend).

of course after i put in an order at amazon us, it gets discounted at eb games (down to $47).

so cheaper to pick-up and local stock, but delivery is pricy at $15.

    • I was lucky and they had literally one copy left about 20 minutes from my place a couple of weeks back.

But oh well, $15 delivery would've made it roughly the same price anyhow.

  • Ah very cool, I'll chuck it in the post, cheers.

Yeah I bought a copy from Amazon yesterday as well rip

As someone who bought this at full price (yeah, not very Ozbargainy, but there was a preorder bonus artbook), it's definitely worth getting. Game is oozing charm and has a very brilliant woven yet complex narrative.

Oh and as a side note, it was nominated for best narrative at this year's The Game Awards (if anyone cares for such things).
