      This VA panel has better contrast though 3000:1 compared to 1000:1 in the Dell 24". Any advantage in having a curved screen?

I have this or similar samsung curved monitor on one of my boys pc. Does the job well. He likes the curve. I don't even notice it.

Anyway, love it, can't feel it is a curve screen after a while

I have the 27" version of this. Got bad backlight bleed after a year, Would not recommend it.
