So anyone care to comment on how good these are? I'm after swapping out my 8 year old 55' for a newer one as PS5 is due to arrive next month.

I'd like to know also, but I've heard JVC's are no good, as they use low quality Chinese panels.

Won't have hdmi 2.1 so you won't get any of the goodies the PS5 offers. This is probably a 50hz panel too sooo I'd avoid

There's currently almost no games that support 120hz on PS5 yet anyway…

        • COD BO Cold war
          Dirt 5
          DMC 5 SE
          Borderlands 3
          Rainbow 6

And more will come in the future. I think it's way too premature to dismiss 120hz, if you're buying a TV to keep for the next several years it'd be worth looking into. It's just that HDMI 2.1 TVs all seem to have issues with 120hz right now. They're also all pricey

      • Can anyone confirm if the panel is 50hz?

Anyone know if its hdmi 2?

My family friends have this and it has bad picture quality and sound is just ok. JVC are cheap Chinese junk and have nothing to do with the old JVC brand.

      • what could u recommend in this price range?

        • Honestly, you'll need to go in-store and have a look for yourself see what you like, don't buy a TV blindly.
However if you must do it then stick with the market leaders such as LG/Samsung/Sony

          • @Winston100s: i don't think u could get anything in this price range with LG/Samsung/Sony,
same size u looking at around 2k instore, any store.
            u get what u paid right ?

        • I see people here saying EKO, also at BigW, is good bang for the buck at this price level.

          • @wisdomtooth: I had a look at this TV (JVC) at BigW Macquarie Centre (NSW 2113), and they had it on display next to the non QLED model, and then EKO non QLED.
It seems fine to me, the boot up time is no longer than the TCL that I had.
Picture quality wise this seems to be a bit more washed out compared to non QLED model, but it could be only the setting.
The non QLED model picture/colour looks better than EKO next to it.
