they are cross compatible, but only with ps4 games, not ps5 games.
they want people to use the dualsense because it honestly is the 'next gen' controller. The dualsense is one of the biggest strengths of the ps5.
If you have to ask what’s the difference between the DualShock and DualSense then I think it’s best you buy the same Xbox controller from 2013 and call it a day

You can play PS4 games on PS5 with the DualShock 4. Agree it should be under $50 still

These have previously been on sale for as low as $43 (at the start of the year). I've been waiting for deals on these, but considering that the ps5 is now out, you'd think they should be below $40.
