So these appear to be select items from their respective categories (CPUs, Mobos, Ram, Select GPUs). All have to be shipped and sold by newegg directly. Not third parties.

  • thats is very good price for sn750

but i wanna know about intel one how good is it? thinking for Xbox series x storage

    • You won't be able to run Series X games from it, just incase you weren't aware.

      • I know, just extended storage for BC games

        • Probably better to get a larger external HDD for that, just move games to it once you're done with them.

          • @Vinodra: hammmm. that's something I will need to consider after I got my hand on console.

  • +1

How much will shipping cost approx?

    • +1

I just added SN750 to my cart. Says $30 AUD shipping to me. (Free shipping if buying over $300AUD I think)

      • yep
most items seem to be free ship over $300

shame i just bought $300 of stuff

      • Wow thats pretty steep. I had a NH-D15 shipped from Taiwan for $9 on Newegg.

  • +3

erm usd price? when i change to AU store its AUD$161.70 for the samsung

    • I think deal price is for tomorrow ,

      • nah, OP updated title it seems

        • dammit. i was really happy for sec. but still not bad i guess.

    • +1

current exchange rate should have been around $135 AUD

EDIT - that would be before GST, so 162 isn't as bad just not a great exchange rate

    • starts tomorrow

      • change to US site, the items with NOW are just that, prices available now.
Confirmed Samsung is at 99.99 USD.

        • does it let you checkout to australia though

  • What are the prices in AUD including gst?

    • divide by 0.72

      • +1

I’m pretty sure you’re supposed to put AUD prices in the title

  • Dumb question but are overseas purchases eligible for tax write-offs?

    • +1

If there is an ABN yes, NewEgg charges GST so it must have an ABN.

  • Shipping is 51 aud and they also having a deal with asrock b550m pro4. But, not enough to get free shipping….

  • +1

The problem is NewEgg will force you to the Australian site during checkout once you put your shipping address in here. The exchange rate they use is some sort of poor joke - the $82.99 USD should equal ~$113 AUD. When it kicks you over it changes the price to $136 AUD, PLUS GST! Adding on the fairly brutal $30 shipping it is never really a bargain anymore for just about everything I've seen on NewEgg. $179.60 for an Intel 665p 1 TB isn't awful but an SN550 for $141 on amazon is much better value.

    • +2

Difficult to justify as well when you consider the peace of mind offered by Amazon's return policy and customer service.

      • I had to return faulty RAM from Newegg recently and they're hopeless. The only postage option they offer is UPS and there's only one drop off location in Melbourne. I managed to convince them to agree to reimburse me for Auspost postage, but after I posted it they reneged and said they could only offer me credit for it (which is unlawful per ACL).

I imagine I'll get a refund eventually, but customers shouldn't have to threaten legal action to get businesses to comply with the law. I won't use them again.

    • Depends on what you're after. I just snagged a 64gb (2x 32gb) ddr4 3600mhz g skill ripjaw matched pair for roughly $345AU plus GST with free shipping, which is still noticeably cheaper than local price.

the 2tb crucial ssd is a decent price.

  • misleading title most of these items dont equal out very cheap

    • Totally misleading title with inaccurate exchange rates and gst not included. Also had a poor experience with them on no shipping and no returns.

    • The 2TB Crucial for $263(incl GST) is $40 cheaper than its ever been…..

  • -1

Prices do not include gst. They end up not cheaper than other stores in Oz.

    • Where can you get a 2TB P1 for $261 (including GST) in Oz? Cheapest deal on here ever is $299.

      • Try $288.20 plus shipping.

But good point, it's still an okay deal.

        • Minus the $15 using the promo code the OP supplied…. $263.20. that's an amazing price

          • @mfazackerley: Mate… Need to check your maths 😉

And the international shipping absorbs that unfortunately.

But yeah, okay deal. There's regularly $300ish deals (that's what I bought my pilot E for last month and it's tlc which is better than this.)

            • @bejahi: Haha thats a bit awkward! $273 whoops!

Yeh Id much prefer TLC but the affordable TLC drives don't seem to come in 2TB sizes.
Samsung 970 & SN750 are the next closest and its still a big jump.

              • @mfazackerley: When I did my research last month there were many, just not the names everyone thinks of first. Look at mushkin, pny, etc

  • I can't seem to add an Australian address when going through the checkout as a guest. Unable to change country from the US.

Meh, CBf with this, I'll buy one locally.
