These were sold out last Christmas in record time. Customers demanded them and Bunnings managed to get them back. We put out two pallets worth today and about a quarter of those were gone in the first eight hours of launch.
    Supply and demand speaks volumes.

    • Are there other Bunnings merch coming back this Christmas. Like the cap? Asking for a friend…

      • The corduroy cap? There are still a few around. What area does your friend live in?

        • Yes! They’re currently in regional Vic near Geelong

          • @TightBum: The system says that they are in stock at the Geelong warehouse.

            • @EmCKay: North geelong? Is there an item code so I can go hunt them down?

              • +1

                @TightBum: Item number is 0124054

        • I'd love one too, any chance they are coming back, those caps are lovely.

      • West Footscray sell the corduroy cap.

    • Supply and demand speaks volumes.

I was just thinking that. I know it's not a bargain and fully agree that it's not "OzBargain" material. But pretty daft to claim you don't understand the appeal to people, even if it doesn't appeal to you personally.

Neat idea, but rrp. ozbargain <> ozcoolstuff

  • Pffft… What's with OzBargain now promoting fake products. This is obviously just an off-brand Hammerbarn kit.

Anyone want to make some custom stickers to replace the ones in this set? :)

  • this is crap!

  • Don't get me wrong this is cool as I'm into blocks, Fego and Lego but RRP is not a bargain.

Any deal of PXXNHUB film factory lego-like blocks?

  • I have a unique idea of adding a brick and Bunning Warehouse 2 has had its millions of dollars of R & D for next year . Or maybe reduce by 1 as said in this thread chuck out a oversized snag .

You really have to admire the Bunnings marketing team. How a multi-million dollar company manages to get everyone clamouring for some over-priced advertising tat is astounding. This really is some next level hail corporate stuff.

is there any other hardware store in the world that has reached such peak cult status that it sells its own merchandise?

Yeh, it was always that price.

Any of these Block Warehouses still available at Armadale in WA?

Don't want to make the hour long drive for nothing

    • +1

Just had a visit today, still got plenty of them. Also it limits to 2 packs per customer.
For Perth Metro, Armadale is the only store that selling those boxes.

    • can you not do a click and collect there or even phone ahead to put one under the desk?

      • Click and deliver is available in WA but not click and collect. These sets are not able to be held for customers unfortunately.

  • No deal at 17 cents a block. … and not Lego
