Time for another (possible) BWS price error!

Asahi Super Dry Black bottles are on special for $2 each at BWS (despite a case of 18 usually costing $68).

So just add 18x single bottles to score a case for $36.

Other possible steps:

  • Combine with 10% Cashrewards.

  • By purchasing 2 cases (36 bottles) I was able to combine with a (possibly targeted) 1000 Everyday Rewards points (equates to ~$5) for $70 spend at BWS.

With either or both of those additional steps, two cases will ultimately cost you $60-$65, which is lower than the usual single case price!

Edit: Stock levels are getting hit. If it shows as unavailable, try changing to other stores nearby and you might find more stock.

    Thanks OP collected 13 bottles from my local BWS.
    Said maximum of 2 6 packs restriction on click and collect due to demand. (but gave me 13 bottles)..
    still happy.

    Ordered 2 x 18 Cartons. One for $36 and one for $26 after someone mentioned the the Everyday Rewards discount. Was going to refund the first order but don't think I will because of the great reviews everyone is giving.

    Also the store I ordered from still has 45 bottles but the price has gone back up to $5 so they have caught on.

    I got an email saying it was ready but before i could get i got a phone call saying that it was a pricing error and they couldn't fulfill the order however they could offer me Mountain Goat at the same price instead. the store was Plympton in SA.

    Arrived at store to find that the 18 they had in stock when I ordered had magically disappeared and that they now only had 3 available. Apparently a head office mistake. When I quizzed the store clerk if they had hidden the remaining bottles she hesitated. Pretty poor way to cover up a SNAFU. Apparently I am due to receive an email from BWS to advise this mistake and refund options.

    Just got a call from my local BWS. Apologised to say they couldn't fulfil the order of 18 due to an IT glitch and it was only a max of 2 per person.

    My order was processed just before the call and had a refund of $32 applied to it.

    Well done to those that got more than me.

    Got my six pack but the lady said the online manager rang around and said it was suppose to be a limit of two bottles. Nice to see they honored it. Some people went a bit crazy apparently.

    Went to collect mine. The bloke commented on what a good deal I was getting & how there had been an online error. Still let me have it though - legend!

    He even mentioned how it had happened before with Little Creatures… I didn't mention my role in that one either but nice to see it referenced in real life!

    I'm a little worried about BWS refusing to give me my 2 cartons when I go to pick up because I can't get there till after 3pm today. That's a lot of time for them to contact me and refuse me.

      If it's any help, it seems it really depends on the store. Perhaps if they did not have their stock completely wiped out, they may honour it. And you know, it's always wise not to answer unknown numbers…

    Picked up my 18 bottles this evening the sales guy said he store was cleaned out of the asahi black only because head office told them to honour the purchases, even though it was a glitched and it was only meant to be a limit of 2 bottles per person.

    They just called me and said it was a system glitch and advise me to contact Cs for a refund, they meant to limit 2 bottles per order bla blah… oh well
