Have been waiting for PSU deals on the low-end to put in a budget system, and this fits the bill. It's $69 everywhere else (normal price), usually delivery not included, so $55 delivered is a great price. The 450w version is actually more expensive than this at $59. I chose this particular PSU due to decent reviews and that it has flat black sleeves which look great, modularity isn't an issue if your case has a PSU shroud. The 650w version is $8 more at $63 delivered.

      Check again. MPE v2 is under B.

      The old psu model was under D.

      This PSU has LLC and DC to DC which is pretty good.

        My bad. I skimmed over the low priority section. I wouldn't be sure how to tell the difference between V1 and V2 anyway.

  There's some uncertainty about which model this is. The listing uses the code MPE-5501-ACABW-AU which is the V2 model and is a good psu for being only 80+, however, in the technical details it uses the code MPW-5502-ACABW-IN which is the older model and noticeably worse. Try to find out which model it is before buying. Def worth it if it's the MPE.

    Pretty sure this is the V2, the biggest visible difference between the two is that the v2 comes with flat black cables while the original had the old ketchup and mustard cables.

    The MPW-5502-ACABW-IN is made for the India market, where the Model number ends with IN. The MPE-5501-ACABW-AU is for AU market. Different countries have electronics regulations thus company usually adds the country code into the stock code. This been sold through amazon.com.au I have a high confidence it is the V2

    I can comfirm that it is indeed the V2 model that's being sold on Amazon. Bought 3 of these last month and all were the V2s. You can also tell because the V2s have the purple style box while the V1s have the grey box.

  This is a terrible power supply and I put this in the same tier as your generic silver ones..

  Power supplies are one thing you should not cheapen out on and there a plenty of decent budget ones under $100aud

  Update: 650W version is back in stock and now $60 (rather than the normal price of $79). $19 off normal price, normally the 450w version is this price. Bought one myself, considering buying an extra as this is a great price.
