  • shuckable ?

    • +1

Yep, and much easier than the current-gen enclosures

  • Hopefully inb4 it's already gone

  • "This item cannot be shipped to your selected delivery location. Please choose a different delivery location."

EDIT: never mind, it's because I had my parcel locker selected as the default delivery address.

  • i hate their plugs…

  • Great deal thanks OP purchased 1. Been using two of these 5TB drives on my low power home server for a while and have had no issues with them so far.

    • Opposite here. First an error had the file system switched to read only, repaired, then some time later the head got stuck.
Looks like the same model. ST5000LM000 drive.

Also keep in mind, 15mm, so won't work in situations where a <=7mm model is required. Also quite slow.

  • For me, postage is $13.78 when buying 2 (clicking standard shipping without Prime).

    Total is $281.57

    Add 4% cash back from Cashrewards + $10 bonus…

    Total is $270.31

So each unit is approx $135.16 (or a little over $27/TB)…bargain.

  • $165 for me shipped from the US?

    • Looks like out of stock, so it defaults to the next price..

  • $163.54 now.

  • looks like it's done/expired.

  • Mine arrived. Cracked one open for a “look-see”. The drive is a Seagate Barracuda 2.5” ST5000LM000 made on 16/08/2020.

They came in OEM brown packaging. Looks like these were a special bundle deal and not in retail packaging. Nevertheless, quite happy.
