Yeah I kind of agree although I got one through the gym I joined and I'm addicted to the stats it provides me. Also helps keep me from over doing it which is my usual go to.

The metrics that WHOOP provide are decent enough but good lord is it overpriced when you consider that Garmin or even Apple produce similar data points for the one time cost of the watch (which has many more features)
