ASUS TUF Geforce RTX 2060 OC 6GB $399 (+$15 delivery) @ PC Case Gear

140

First post - be kind ;)

Cheapest I can find on an RTX2060 - doesn't seem to be many GPU deals at the moment.
Was $549.

Says click and collect is closed - I haven't ordered from PC case gear for a while so not sure what the go there is.

This is part of Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals for 2020

  • Seems like a decent but not amazing deal for a non-Super

I’d probably be inclined to try and get the 5700XT within similar price.
Truthfully it’s not like you can expect to use raytracing on this card and expect playable frame rates without low settings

    • I was hoping for a good deal on one but cheapest I can find is $549 :(

      • I thought I saw $499 posted today?

        • There was a $499 this morning, but it’s out of stock.

          • @belle39: Think it was a typo because they put it straight back up to $600 odd

@belle39: Well there’s always cyber Monday!

            • @[Deactivated]: Worth waiting you reckon?

              • @SJDR: There was another $499 back in November, I would say we see it again given the new cards and promotional weekend.
I like my 5700XT, the tuning software is very good too. The extra 2gb of ram would likely be a big help too

                  @[Deactivated]: $529
The Ozbargainer in me won't let me pull the trigger unless it hits $499!

Did anyone actually get one of those? $499 + black widow keyboard, seems like a pricing error

          • @baker bob: my order is 'in process' and paid

edit: can get the same card from ebay for $556

    • DLSS tho

I've been eyeing a GTX 1660 Super, waiting for a good price. But this is slightly tempting, to step up to an RTX 2060 for about 25%-30% more money.

Does the performance gain warrant the extra outlay? I need to do a bit of research, but would be great to hear any feedback here too.

    Thanks.

  • The issue I have with 1660S is the ports. I will use this for VR so 2x HDMI is good as I have my monitors on HDMI as well. I could get DP conversion cables but that’s more cost anyway.
