    Hey mate, link to product?

  • +1

    Will charge macbook i assume?

    • Can't speak for this specific one but I have the Cygnett 27000 which is only 60W and charges my 2017 MacBook Pro fine. For reference my MacBook Pro wall charger is 87W

    • My 2016 13" MacBook Pro charged fine with a Xiaomi 45W powerbank, don't see why you couldn't do it with this 65" one.

  • +3

    That's one cheap 65w powerbank

    • +4

Yeah cheapest I've seen is $86.

Worth the wait if your in no hurry

      • willing to wait for this price. Bought 2 for $55 cheaper that a single one last time.

      • not long to wait now. We just received tracking numbers.

  • +1

Got one for the collection ☺️

  • +2

Even without Kogan first and plus shipping cost its still a bargain. Good find OP!!!

  • Great deal!

  • +1

thx mate, insane deal, got 2.

    • +1

Same. Cheaper than buying just one from previous deal. Even without Kogan first.

  • Great deal, ordered one. Was in market for a new charger to replace my older and slower xiaomi charger.

  • Thanks OP, killer deal!

  • Xiaomi says that for the battery to last longer, keep it at about 50% charge. What's the point of such a big capacity if you shouldn't charge it to 100%??

    • +4

Xiaomi says that for the battery to last longer, keep it at about 50% charge. What's the point of such a big capacity if you shouldn't charge it to 100%??

If in storage, 50% is best.

You'll notice almost all phones are shipped from the factory at around 50% level when you unbox them

      • Oh, so if you're regularly using it, then it's not an issue?

        • +1

          Correct.

        • Yeah although like all Li-ion batteries if you want the capacity to last you shouldn't charge above 80% (although really who bothers)

          • @Agret: 80% is not true. There is a lot of misinformation that Li-ion batteries shouldn’t be charged more than 80%. It all depends on usage pattern and as a result that will either degrade battery sooner or prolong the battery life.

          • +2

@Agret: If it's often attached to the charger, then charging to 80/85% will prolong the battery life compared to sitting at 100% continuously on the charger. Some devices have an option to automatically limit charging to 80/85% for this type of usage.

If the battery isn't on the charger as much but is being used a lot then charging to 100% can help. Eg if using 80% of the battery between charges, then 100% down to 20% at the end of the day is preferable over 80% down to empty.

  • +1

Thanks OP, bought one a month ago for $88 and decided to buy another one.

  • +5

    $19.99 ? are you serious? shouldn't it be $119.9?

  • Got 2 with Kogan First Trial
    Cheers

  • +3

Got one for $88 sometime back and haven’t even opened the box yet and it’s already $19.99. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was a pricing error.

    • fingers crossed it isn't.

  • What is the HUB function

    • +1

I guess if you plug the USB-C port into your laptop to power it then you can use the two USB-A ports to connect devices to your laptop.

    • +3

you can plug a usb stick to the powerbank while it plugged into say a laptop. The contents of usb stick is accessible from the laptop.

  • +1

Thanks I bought 3 and happy to pay shipping - we shall see if they cancel.

  • seems like a fantastic deal, got one to supplement my gooloo car charger.

  • Tempting but I have at least 20 power banks now so time to skip perhaps :P

    • +4

      Buy first, justify later.

      • Woops too slow.

  • -1

Anyone in Sydney buying one can also buy one for me to save on shipping?

  • -2

This one doesn't have type C out.

    • Type C 2 way

      • -3

This one dont have type c two way. Just checked its description

        • +3

It absolutely does, regardless of what the description might say.

(You can’t achieve 65W output or 45W input without it.)

        • It’s not C if it’s in a three way…

    • umm yes it does..

    • +2

65W out isn't possible through any standards on USB-A…

  • this is crzay price! don't think they gonna approve it? just signed up to leave this comment!

  • Purchased one but not really expecting it to go through

  • very suspicious price, could be price error? anyway bought 2. thanks OP

    • +4

      That's the spirit.

  • This can charge a laptop and phone yea?

  • -4

Party is over, refund is on the way

    • +2

      ??

      • +1

the previous lowest is 84 or so. at $20, I'm sure you can guess what people suspect is going to happen but I hope to be wrong

        • Here's hoping right. Fingers crossed.

  • Kogan website will let you add to cart and then says it's out of stock :-(

  • All gone :(

    • +1

      ozbargained

  • Since it's a pre-sale, it can easily be cancelled before shipping out

  • Sold out

  • Bought one, fingers crossed.

  • Damn just missed it :/

  • Now saying leaves warehouse in 1-2 days and still $19.99??

    • +2

When you add to cart. You get this message.

      Sold Out
Sorry, this item has just sold out and could not be added to your cart

  • Cheap as chips

    • we still don't know if we will actually get it. Fingers crossed.

  • +5

Ordered one, but get the feeling it's a cheap ploy to get more people to sign up to Kogan First for the free shipping, only for them to cancel the order claiming it was a price error. Or maybe I'm just a cynic

    • +1

well I didn't sign up to Kogan first. So there's that. Even without it. Bought 2 with delivery for $55 and price is still cheaper than a single one from previous sales.

    • +1 to this. I got the Kogan first trial and I am feeling the same.

  • Snapped it up just in time

    • +2

Now we pray to the ozbargain gods that they honour the price.

      • fingers crossed!

        • SHIPPED!! YAY

  • Damn got mad envy, this was something I was actually looking to buy this weekend

  • that's gotta be a pricing error. This is about $100.

    • $86 last it was on sale. Gonna find out soon enough if they honour it.

  • Spewin that I missed out on this.

    • +1

you don't really know that as no on has received it yet.

  • Did anyone take a photo when it was in stock? Or have a link to the ad?

    • +2

I have a screen shot of it in my cart before i clicked buy

      • could you please share it?

        • Ill pm you

          • @easternculture: Could I possibly get a copy of the picture as well?

            Thanks :)

            • +1

              @SkItZo: Check pm 🙂

              • @easternculture: What's everyone doing with the screenshot I want in!

                • @bobbleberry: Price matching possibly!!?

                • @bobbleberry: Most likely for a price protection thingy.

                  • +1

@PissLUR: odds of it happening are low and will depend on who processes it.

I had a philips air fryer claim granted which was a price error (more than 50% off). They asked for evidence because HN had taken it down and no price was displayed because "unavailable" was listed as the price. I showed them the screenshot which was the only price they could see.

Right now Kogan has listed it as Unavailable, so they will ask for the screenshot. If they process this quickly before Kogan puts an actual price back up, they might actually grant me this. It all depends how quick they work. It's been black friday weekend so they would have gotten a ton of PP claims to go through.

      • Can you send me one as well please. Thanks

      • +2

EC, they approved my claim and credited me $68.81. :D

They didn't even ask for any proof, which is strange because Kogan doesn't have a price listed and there's no evidence the price I claimed to see is even real. I did not need to show them your screenshot at all.

I just woke up today and found 3 price protection claims approved at once.

If Kogan doesn't honor this, I might be the only one who got a power bank for $20. :D

Though I totally would have bought two more at that price. It's the best 20Ah power bank I have.

I'm actually laughing right now because this PP claim came just 2 days before the 12 month expiry of claims. And on top of that, at the time I bought it for $88.80, there was a Shopback 20% flash sale going on, and I would have got $16 back for it. So I would have paid $4 for this power bank. LOL.

        • +1

Also got my claim approved and credited me $70 without evidence :D
Also ended up paying about $5 for this power bank all up :)

          Thanks all

        • Did you pay with 28 Degrees? For price protection do we still need to pay 3% fee? Thanks

          • @Bargain-er: pay the balance before statement is generated. you will pay $0 fee.

            • @PissLUR: Ah, thanks. Wasn't aware of the work around so never used it. So we activate price protection (no fee?) and we just pay the balance straight away? Thanks and pardon my noobie question.

          • @Bargain-er:

Did you pay with 28 Degrees?

            Yes.

For price protection do we still need to pay 3% fee? Thanks

It's 1%, capped at $50. If you pay everything before the statement is issued, you pay nothing.

Ah, thanks. Wasn't aware of the work around so never used it. So we activate price protection (no fee?) and we just pay the balance straight away? Thanks and pardon my noobie question.

It's too late to reactivate it. It was rescinded in 2019 (maybe 2018 even). Grandfathered accounts get to keep it, new customers and those who didn't activate it aren't eligible.
