Can we use this for multiple transactions?

    Thanks

    • seems like it, but it might be capped at $30 throughout the promotional period, not sure though

Ensure that you return and clickthrough from ShopBack again after making a transaction in order for consecutive transactions to be tracked

      • Thanks mate. Just did two transactions. Hope it tracks!

  • Already tracked for me

  • Does cashback work fine if it opens through the app? Couldn't see this in conditions

It won't track if you went through Groupon app.

      • I used shopback which opened the Groupon app and it tracked fine

The code BLACK gives a variable discount, sometimes 5% but up to 30%. Some pretty decent deals.

Will cashback work if we pay with Groupon credit?

    • Curious on this too, it says not but there have been times in the past it has…..

      • Yes:

Cashback is calculated after the usage of Groupon credit & excludes taxes, fees or additional charges

    • Cashback rate applies to the total only after the credit has been deducted though.

There is a Groupon challenge/cyber monday bonus for $10 tomorrow in the SB app. So might want to wait till tomorrow.

    • both the 25% and the code expire tonight though. Unless tomorrow also has upsized CB.

      • Should be something .. after all cyber monday :)

Last time I tried this, shopback informed me that groupon refused to pay them commission and so could not pass it back to me. It was 20% last time. I could not get a reason as to why groupon refused to pay it.

it just happened to me on 50% Pizza Hut cashback
got the email this morning with the same reason as yours.
      bummer…

Same thing also happened to me. I'm not risking again with Groupon

        • Ditto. Rejected with Shopback, and now I'm also having an issue with Groupon through Cashrewards. Upsized cashbacks both times.

  • capped at $30. lame.

  • Promo code Black gave 5% off my restaurant deal order.

  • LOVE THIS! I've bought a couple of Eastern Creek Karting voucher and I received $30 cashback + $3.5 on top by stacking BLACK code at checkout!

  • I got Groupon Bucks (refund credits of restaurant deals due to pandemic closure).

Do you know if cashback works when pay by Groupon Bucks? This isn't mentioned in the DON'Ts section.

I believe the cash back only applies to the amount remaining after applying your credits

  • does anyone know if the $30 cap applies to all purchases or just the current promotion. Made some purchases saturday night worth appx $10 cash back but that was with the 15% cash back. I am hesitant to make expensive purchases now based on the assumption that I would get another $30 cash back.

I know its a little late now, but wanted to know for future references.

  • Did anyone who bought during this promo get their Shopback tracking at the correct cashback rate(25%)? Minw had been tracked at the default rate of 5% and I'd raised it with Shopback who investigated that "the merchant has deemed ShopBack ineligible to earn commissions on this transaction which results in us being unable to pass the Cashback along to you."

Feeling pretty salty that they're denying this(Groupon or Shopback) when it were clearly advertised, especially when there was an actual tracking details that came through.

    • Mine didn't even track. Shopback also gave me the same excuse when I submitted the claim.

    • Yup showing as 5%, raised a case as well.
