    • This was just the comment I was after, thanks mate.

No issues with the 2721DGF at all? I thought it was recessed at it clearly states the F80 is a no go for recessed vesa mounts.

      • It is recessed, but it fits in the recessed area. Won't be an issue. Glad I could help mate.

Interested in the Black F100A special as well.

  • Bought this a few days ago for $44 :(

    • +2

I tried to tell people in the prev F160 post about this sale.

  • +2

OP, any chance you'll put up NB H100 on sale too?

  • +1

Any good prices on mounts that have a bit more lift from the desk than this?
    - I have this model and kinda wish it raised the monitor another 15-20cm

    • You'd have to look at the dual mounts, like the H160 which have extra height on the bar to get high enough for 2 vertically mounted monitors.

  • Did you guys manage to get any of the other models for sale this afternoon? Or just the F80 for now?

  • Hi, the mount requires some space behind the table is it?

    • Yes.

      • Thx

      • One more question - does it require the table to have a hole for installation?

        • No, but you can Mount them like that, which would mean you don’t need space behind the table anymore.

  • Comes up as $44.0 for me! expired?

    • +1

      LATER TODAY

      • ahh my bad. sorry got excited

    • Hasn't started yet.

      • yup yup, thanks, oversight on my part.

  • Bought the H80 last time. Works great for my dual monitor set up. I'm rocking 2x Dell S2721D.

    • What's the diff of H/F80?

      • Has a pole for more extendable reach.

  • +1

I was so waiting for this to go on sale! thanks Rep!

  • Hi OP, just wondering how long the F80 deal lasted on Prime Day?

  • From 12:50pm till 8:50pm or till sold out.

    • Is it 12:50pm AEST? Please specify. Thanks

      • Yes, 12:50PM AEST which is Daylight Savings time as Sydney based.

        • +1

Thank you. Please don't forget us in WA. We can easily miss out every deals by that 3 hours difference :P

        • AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time) is Daylight Time?

I thought AEDT (Australian Eastern Daylight Time) was Daylight Time.

Super confused right now. Is it 12:50PM AEST or 12:50PM AEDT?

        • Not quite - this is AEDT.

          • @Hinee: Sorry, my bad. AEDT so in about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Does anyone know if this will work with the Dell S3220DGF?

  • +1

Hi Op, Is this mount suitable for LG 27GL850-B?

    • The VESA Plate on the F80 is 120 x 120 so may not fit in the recessed VESA mount for this screen. If in doubt, either carefully measure your screen recess or go with the H80 instead.

      • Any deal for the H80?

        • Sorry, Amazon did not run it this time around.

    • I have the GL850-B and it doesn’t fit. The plate needs a few mm shaved off the corner edges if you have the tools available, which unfortunately I don’t ;(.

Also mine developed a squeaking noise after a while.

    • +1

I've just mounted this monitor on the F80, no issues at all.

Any idea if suitable for dell S2721QS?

    • +1

      Same question. I’m expecting 2 S2721QS. Which is better, 2 F80 or 1 F160, dual monitor setup?

      • +2

People have reported that having two single arm monitors work the best as you get more flexitiblty. The issue with these dual monitor arms is it's hard to bring the monitors side by side if you don't have enough room at the back

      • +1

        2x f80 is best
        using as my current setup

    • Anyone? Cancelled my order as wasn't sure…

    • Anyone try it with this monitor? Thanks

  • The F80 is not as this is a recessed VESA mount. Better to go with the H80, H100 or F100A which is on special on our site now in Back or Silver.
    https://www.screenmounts.com.au/store/p63/NEW_Gas_Strut_Mode…

    • Yes yes more deals :D. (Even though I've already bought all the arms I need… for now)

    • +1

Are there diffs between F80/100 other than support for recessed VESA?
(would be good to include a chart/description in post)

  • +3

    Any recommendation for S2721Q?

  • will H80 also be getting a sale?
I have bought both the F80 and H80 in the past and found the H80 gives a fair bit more flexibility and height adjustment, so looking to grab a couple more of those.

    • +1

Offered the H80 deal to Amazon but they passed it up. Don't know why but the F80 has the numbers and perhaps they were limited in specials they could support.

  • I bought the H80 from the last deal. Works great with my Xiaomi monitor.

  • How do these handle being pivoted around a lot?

    • Really well. We recommend them to commercial users.

  • It’s coming up as $44?

    • Doesn't start till 12:50PM today.

  • Hi, does this works with ViewSonic VX3276 32" monitor? Or only for monitor less than 27"?

    • +1

      yes it works for me

      • Thanks bro, may I know how close can it be from the back of the monitor to the wall, I mainly want this mount because my monitor sits too close to my eyes, the stand just takes too wide a space.

        • +1

Mine sits about 10cm from wall to back of monitor/vesa plate. The arm sits sideways if u can picture that.

          • @chubbygeek: Thanks, it's 15cm now, so I guess the mount wouldn't help a lot.

  • Great products and even better seller, fast shipping and they respond to emails quickly!!!!!

  • Any idea if this works with the Ben Q EX2510?

Not sure what constitutes recessed with VESA mounting.

    https://www.benq.com/en-au/monitor/gaming/ex2510-25-inch/spe…

    • A recessed VESA mount is one where the 100 x 100 threaded holes are in a recess in the monitor. It depends on the size of the recess as to whether it will fit.

      • Thanks, Do you have any idea how wide the clamp can go?

  • Only recommended for 27" whereas the H80 goes up to 30" and the H100 to 35".

  • OP, does this model support table grommet install? My study table is build into the wall so there's no edge for clamping. It has a standard diameter hole for cables to go in. Also if it does support grommet installation, does it leave room for cable to go into the hole?

    • F80 includes Grommet mounting hardware.

      • Will it leave enough room for cables to go through the grommet? Thanks for your response OP!

        • Depends on what size hole you drill. Maximum hole size is 50mm so that should easily fit the plugs through if you can drill a hole that large.

          • @ScreenMountsAu: The diameter of the hole without the cap is about 5.5cm. Does the base of the monitor arm product allow cable to go in or are you saying I could clamp it through the hole while leaving a gap behind it large enough for cables to go through?

  • Hi OP, I have the old version of F80, do you think will it fit my coming Xiaomi 34inc monitor?

    • Don't know for sure, is the VESA mount recessed and if so, what are the measurements?

      • Yes, it's recessed.

Which measurements do you refer to? (Xiaomi monitor ?)

        • OP means the recessed area size where the mounting plate will go.

the mounting plate is 120x120mm and it needs to fit flush in there.

  • -2

How does the base mount on to the table? Is it via screws or some platting?

Because I don't want to drill anything

what's the biggest monitor it supports? would 32" UHD Dell be fine?

    • +1

re: mount, you'd know if you looked at the product images

  • Looks like this will not support Xiaomi 34. Anyone know a single arm that does work with Xiaomi?

    • Really Confucius about this. Earlier posts say it works for the Xiaomi.

Guys can someone please tell us if this is a yes or a no for the xiaomi 34 inch that a lot of us bought?

      • The issue is that it won't allow you to put the 34" vertically, so they can't say that it supports 34" monitors.

  • Perhaps a H80 sale is on the cards?

  • Just a heads up, if you have a VESA adapter for a Samsung monitor that doesn't have VESA mounts, this will not work, the additional leverage of the adapter makes the monitor fall forwards. Not a fault, just a note.

  • waiting for H180 deal

  • Im interested in the f100a as well. Is your return policy as good as amazons? In the scenario we find the product faulty or used?

  • ScreenMountsAu can you explain the Upright lift distance for me? Is this the maximum height the monitor can be raised off the desk?
So the F80 and H80 only differ with one being on a pole? And only the F100A actually provides extra height off the desk?

    F80:
    Upright lift distance 9.8” (260mm)

    H80:
    Upright lift distance 260mm

    F100A
    Upright lift distance: 345mm

    • The upright lift distance is the amount the Gas Strut arm moves from highest to lowest.
The F80 and H80 are different and the H80 has a pole base so you can move the arm assembly higher than the f80 goes.
The F80 base section is fixed in height but does pivot. Have a close look at images for both and you will see the different construction.

      • It is clear they are of different construction. What value am I expected to use from your specs to determine maximum height?

        • The links that OP provided contain the specs.
          F100A max height: 53cm
Lowest height = max height - upright lift distance = 18.5cm

  • Does this fit for Samsung 24 inch curved monitor??

    • You will need to check the weight, VESA mounting pattern and if the VESA mount is recessed or not.
Some monitors with recessed VESA mounts are too tight for the F80 to fit, and so the H80 would be the better option.
      Hope this helps.

      • I just had a look into my product catalouge and it shows VESA Mounting interface as 75.0 * 75.0 mm.
Does this mean it is compatible??
