Hi everyone, and happy Cyber Monday. A hot deal for all our members with 12% cashback on every category capped at $25 per member.   • During the 2 hour promotional period, 12% cashback for Amazon Australia is capped at $25 in total per member account, irrespective of the number of transactions made. Valid 4:00pm to 6:00pm AEDT 30/11/20.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchase of vouchers, gift cards, kindle unlimited, audible, mobile apps, subscribe & save items, prime subscriptions.
  • Ensure your Amazon cart is empty before clicking from Cashrewards, as items added prior to clicking will not earn cashback. Items must only be added to cart after clicking from Cashrewards.
  • Purchases paid with gift cards are eligible for cashback (not Amazon credit).
  • You must return and click through from Cashrewards to Amazon every time you make a new transaction/purchase.
  • Cashback is paid on eligible purchases, excluding delivery, taxes & GST.
  • Pre-orders are eligible for cashback only if the item is scheduled to be shipped within 60 days of purchase.

      In that case I shouldn't use the $10 credit and get my $1 back.

    • Nope. Did about 5 Amazon orders yesterday, none of which have tracked. My one BCF order that was placed after all the Amazon orders has tracked.

  • I literally bought the Joycons at 4pm on the dot. But because Cashrewards hadnt updated the 12% till probably 4.02pm its been declined. Pretty annoyed as I wouldn't have bought them otherwise…
    Definitely going to dispute this…otherwise I will just cancel the order :(

      The 12% activated at precisely 4pm. Please check the time you clicked to Amazon. I can guarantee you clicked prior to 4pm when 12% hadn’t yet started.

      • It says I clicked through at 3.59pm but purchased after 4pm. I guess I was unaware this was an issue, I figured the "purchase" was what mattered. Kind of frustrating that this seems like a good service but I always seem to be denied by loopholes…
        Its things like this that I find very hard to refer friends and family to Cashrewards/Shopback.

          • @SBOB: So if I clicked through at 5:59 and spent an hour deciding on a purchase it would work? Because I "clicked" through technically within the time frame? But didn't purchase immediately? I guarantee in this situation they wouldn't pay out. I purchased after 4pm…the deal was for purchases between 4-6pm…I get that I made a mistake, however these terms are not properly explained.

            • @Puglife: no, click and purchase within time window
              its not new, as the cashback rate doesnt update until after the window starts when you look at their webpage or plugins.

        Maybe put this in the main post for future deals. I read it as valid for purchases made from 4-6pm, no mention of having to click from cashrewards in that window. I'm just lucky I clicked after 4pm.

    • Did you hit the cashback cap with the one that tracked?

      • Nope, $4.27 only

        • Had the same issue, ordered 5 items in the same transaction ($193 ex GST) but only $28.90 tracked with a rebate of $3.47. The % is correct but just partial tracking. Puzzling. Click history indicates click trough was 4.05pm so seems to meet all criteria.

          • @lwdog: @TA my order also hasn't tracked from 4.15pm, should I send in a support ticket?

          • @lwdog: Had similar where ordered 2 items but for some reason only one tracked.
            I emailed them and they fixed the issue…not sure what the cause was, but I sent my Amazon invoice and it was sorted in a day.

          Same problem. I made three separate transactions each with multiple items, the clicks recorded, but only a single item from within one of those transactions has actually tracked so far. Not the usually behaviour, but I guess I'll just have to wait until the 'Send a Claim' button activates.

  • 2 of 3 transactions tracked. All done through the app, all done during the promotional period, clicking back through CR app after each transaction.

    Received a reply today:
    After reviewing the documentation that you have sent through for your untracked Amazon Australia purchase I have noticed that item purchased is categorized as Video Games. I would like to note that this category does not offer Cash back at the time of purchase. This has resulted in your purchase not being reported in your Cashrewards account as it is ineligible to receive rewards from the store.

    Have replied. Hopefully will get an answer soon.

    Reply received. CR won't follow through with this. Standing by video games not being trackable.

      This response is certainly not correct and I will follow through for you tomorrow. I can only assume the person responding assumed the click was made outside of the promo times. Please PM me your CR email address. Can you also advise if you hit the cap limit with your two tracked purchases. Thanks.

  • This didn't end up tracking for me. I put in a claim though. Let's see what happens. The past year or two, I haven't had problems with CR tracking. I did in the past, but they seemed to have fixed something and became more reliable.

    Also, it looks like CR no longer supports Edge browser. Clicking on "Sign in" just sends you to the front "welcome" page.
