      Its $649 good.

      • Ha! exactly my thoughts. If there's a market demographic for it, it will exist.

It's just another generic Chinese-designed, Chinese- made TV, with a 'Blaupunkt' label stuck on it. Blaupunkt does not exist as a company, the only thing left is it's brand name which is owned by a Luxembourg company who licenses it out to the highest bidder. In Australia the licensee is Chinese-owned 'Ayonz' who has a questionable history.

  • Spend an extra 100 and buy the EKO 75 inch

you will have to pick it up yourself though. delivery cost $47 with no cash back

$269.7 in price difference, roughly 31.9% cheaper

      • How do I get it for $576?

  • +1

Thanks, used combination of zip pay (10%) and HCF (4%) amazon gift cards to get this down to $593. Could have also used the cashrewards 12% to get additional $25 but already used on something else

  • Was tempted, as I need a cheapish tv to replace an old one my toddler broke.

I thought that Android TV meant Google Play (also mentioned in the description here) and can install basically anything from the Google Play Store, however reading reviews online I'm seeing people say that you can only install preinstalled apps (not sure how that is even possible if they are preinstalled…). Does anyone know if that is correct? Could I install Binge, Stan, iView etc or anything in the appstore?

The review was from the TVSN website someone mentioned above. https://www.itvsn.com.au/product/071491 I thought it would be a specific TV review website, but looks like it's just a online store for a TV shopping network? These are the two reviews in particular:

"Great picture, bad that you can only add preinstalled apps
It’s ridiculous that you can’t add apps , only the preinstalled ones in the tv . For a modern tv i would expect that you could have"

    "Good TV but beware
I bought this TV thinking it was Smart. Advertised as Smart, but there are smart TVs and Smarter TVs I have 3 other Smart TVs they all connect to the internet, I can access my computer and browse the net, I can access my hub and watch any programs I have recorded there. This one is good ONLY if you want a good TV the internet feature are pre dedicated. So you can not do any of the things I mentioned. Guess that's why its cheap… Don,t get me wrong it has a great picture but for me I was disappointed that it is not mentioned in the promotion or in the item description that it has limited access to the net. All pre set. Anyone want a cheaper TV."

Nothing a cheap android box can't fix.

      • Agree, but would be good to know which it is. Can you install anything you want from Google Play, or are you stuck with what is preinstalled, as per the reviews?

        • Tv with Android usually dont get updated.

Better you buy an Android tv box. If it stops getting updated you buy another.

  • price is up anyway, expired
