  • I wonder how much I can get for a genuine old Kodak Brownie for those who don't know how to set "F:5.6, Speed:1/125' [B&W] or 1/250" [Colour] ISO 200, Focul length 50mm" on their own.

    There's nostalgia, then there's taking the p*ss…

I bought one of these in stone white 2 days ago at bigw Dapto (warrawong has stock of the pink), comes as a bundle with sock cover and strap.
Tag listed $150, scanned at $118 at the checkout.

I'm super excited to give it to my daughter for Xmas, it doesn't print every photo takes… More like a digital camera/printer combo where you choose what you print.
    Looks awesome.

    • Cheers, got one from BigW today at $118. The tag said it was a clearance item.

    • Thanks, got one in Bigw today at $70, it is a good deal.

      • Woah, $70?
It's a clearance item, maybe they reduced it further country wide?

        Great deal!

        • Yes,tag price shows 150, but scan price 70. Maybe the price drops from Thursday.
          Unbelievable.

@jiangwt2002: This needs a bump with new price, it's a great buy for kids coming into Xmas

            • @swingingudders: Found one at mine, scanned up at $150 unfortunately. Still, cheaper than the $180 I had ordered one for on Amazon. That's another pack of film.

              • @theguyrules: Strange, you wouldn't think the price would go back up on a clearance item.
Still a decent buy, looks like a cool device, I can't wait for my daughter to recieve hers for Xmas.
I also bought film with the saving.

  • My daughter wants an Instax camera, but I figured it would be cheaper to have a pocket printer, so you don't end up printing every shot. And she's got a decent camera with her old iPhone. This camera would sort of be a reasonable compromise maybe. I have been eyeing the HP Sprocket Select portable printer, I wonder how does the image quality compare. Also the problem with the Sprocket Select seems to be that the Plus size paper needed for that doesn't seem to be in stock anywhere.

    • The good thing about the liplay is it has a really cool iPhone / android app which lets you print photos from your phone's camera roll.
