To be fair, Dymocks (and Readings, and Collins, and most other physical bookshops that aren't just dumping remaindered stock (Bookgrocer)) usually charges the RRP. They don't inflate prices like some now-dead chains used to, but they also have way way way higher operating overheads than online booksellers.
Potentially, but for the book I’m about to order that’s not the case. Also if you have a Dymocks nearby, free click and collect is a lot better than paying shipping or waiting weeks for overseas delivery
20 percent off of the book I wanted was still $3 more than other sellers.
Hopefully their shipping has improved from a few months ago. Took nearly 3 months for an “I stock” book to be delivered. Took so long, that I forgot I ordered it
It's off full priced items, not just books. Dymocks has some gifty type stuff, fancy stationary and puzzles which are good for Christmas.
I find Dymocks often overpriced anyway so having 20% off may just bring them in line with other retailers.
