    • Install the apk. Run a vpn connect to us server.

Run the samsung tv app. Then away you go.

      • Doesn't work unfortunately, says the apk was not installed.

  • My wife just noticed that there is now an Optus Sport app available to download, no more screen sharing from my phone using smart things!

  • +1

I got VPN on, even created a Samsung account with the US as my country, yet when I tried to download the app from Samsung.com it still stated that the content is not available!

Please help show me how to do it. Thanks.

    • You need to side load the app and have VPN on when you first log in to the app. Earlier posts indicated that after that you no longer needed VPN active but for me at least as soon as I turn it off it stops working so I'm not sure what I did wrong but it's a small inconvenience. Was really hoping for the Netflix/Disney+ but it's not included for me :'(

  • time to get a samsung tv..

    • Instructions unclear. Ended up with a Samsung fridge. How do I sideload this tv plus app on it?

  • +3

You can get a lot of free IPTV channels if on android TV and can do a basic google search, such as those from Stirr, PlutoTV, PBS etc. Publically streamed online, without delving into grey IPTV.

    • +2

PlutoTV is pretty sweet. I use it on my fire tv cube

  • Can anyone recommend a US VPN?

    • Nord VPN still has the 2yr deal and 91% cash back with shop back.. but that's still a lot of money for something I probably won't use much, idk.. what happens if shopback doesn't track? Has anyone bought this deal?

      • +1

Missed out on the earlier 100% cashback deals and got this Nord VPN deal two days ago and confirm it was tracked. USD $89 for 2 yrs (+ 3 Mo free) ended up being USD $97.90 (AUD ~$130) including 10% VAT. Shopback tracked $106, so works out to be $24 for over 2 yrs

        • Yeah, I did not think that could be true 100% back.
Would they truly honour this for nordvpn.
I already had surfshark so didn't get it as it was just too good to be true

Oh mate. Those fanboys are Gona be out to neg you all day long today.

I can’t seem to find it on my washing machine

how to sideload the app on Samsung fridge?

  • Not showing on my 55 KS8500 Tv (2017)

    • "Samsung device owners (Samsung Smart TVs 2018-2020 "

      • +2

The website says Samsung TVs 2016-2020

  • It was a treat for my kids when the Samsung+ just randomly appeared on my TV list. There's plenty of cartoons and educational channels to keep the kids busy.

  • Galaxy S10. Using Windscribe VPN. When starting the app it gives error saying it can't load the app. Any ideas?

    • I got an S10 5G and it worked fine with my Windscribe VPN. Did you also choose US Central? That said, I didn't use the apk that people linked but instead downloaded the Samsung TV Plus app directly from the Play Store using my US google account.

      • I also have a S10 5G. Used the APK that people linked with and works fine with Windscibe and Nord USA server.

      • I've tried with US Central as well. Same thing. Not working for me. I might have to wait for the AU version.

    • Windscribe has become $h!t lately….. doesn't do jack…

  • +2

It was on my new q80t. Didn't realise it was such a new feature. Although no Netflix or Disney plus

  • I'm guessing my C7 is out then. Shame as USA tvs are 2016-2020

  • Popped up on my TV but really not much on it, Bloomberg for news, FuelTV for some extreme sports, otherwise the movie channels have been showing straight to DVD quality movies and a lot of the other channels seem like youtubers.

Will have to keep an eye on it to see how it evolves.

My samsung UA55TU8000W installed this a few week ago I had a quick flick through some of the channels but didn't find anything of interest.

  • Just checked it out on my Galaxy Note + Nord VPN. The US content isn't overwhelmingly compelling, but as an app it does seem to work well. My Samsung TV is also too old to get the app. Most free streaming services are not very good, one exception is Tubi TV - lots of decent things to watch for users with a VPN or Smart DNS and can set it to US (Australia options are poor).

  • Eventually this will be available legit in AU correct? I don't want to sideload anything…

  • +1

Ngl nothing thats really jumping out at me

Oh and pretty sure binge or netflix will never be bundled in for free.

  • No-one else noticed that two of the channels seem to be dubbed into German?

I am actually quite enjoying the Qwest channels.

  • Can you run this app on an android tv ? Tried and it says problem parsing package.

  • My samsung ru8000 wont update at all via online or usb.
I am assuming the apps show up after the newest update. I am stuck a few versions behind.

  • My 2018 Samsung Q6 got the app (update needed). But nothing very special..

  • I don't see the app on q70fn 2018 model Samsung. Most recent firmware. Not sure where else to ask - anyone having luck on the same or similar series Samsung TVs?

  • Slightly off topic but i think all the smart people are here (those that don't want to pay for Foxtel anyway) How do i go ad free on You tube without paying?

    • How do i go ad free on You tube without paying?

      Download youtube vance.

  • So from the list of devices, it's available on Galaxy phones (app in the Google Play store pending or sideloading the apk) but not Galaxy tablets (which are the only Galaxy devices with a screen big enough to view tv)?

    • I sideloaded on my galaxy tab s4. Works fine though I did have vpn connected to a USA server.

  • Anyone got this on their NU7100?

  • worked fine with the direct download of the app and a vpn.

  • I didn't realise how bad some movies were till I saw the Bounty channel on this

  • I have sideloaded the Apk and run it through vpn. I could run it while I am connected to US vpn. However, I still can not launch the mobile US content without a vpn. What have I done wrong in the setup?

    • Apologies, updated op. Think there was some caching that let me stream without vpn, after few sessions got connection error, so vpn is required.

      • Also if you check the US store, DIsney+ and Netflix are not included so might want to remove that tidbit (since there is no way to gain them currently).

  • my 2018 tv (mu8000) automatically updated a couple of days ago with the app

  • Has anyone managed to sideload into Google TV?
Getting app not installed error even with VPN on.
