Anyone know of 5600x instock

Hi,

As per title chasing if there is any 5600x instock. I know the bigger stores are out of stock or on pre order. Hoping for someone's local store with stock and can post. Cheers

  • Keep checking here:
    https://au.pcpartpicker.com/

  • wow, it was there few days ago for $469 at most places and for $481 at Amazon AU

  • Just be patient, it will come into stock in the next few weeks. When I was in store at Centre Com in Clayton last week they had a few 5600X's on the shelf.

    • Do you know anywhere with patience instock? I'm currently running low and wanting to complete my build for Chrissy holidays šŸ˜‚

Extra killer is I'm regional and will need to wait for postage on top. After reading the news today, I'd say Auspost will be too busy smoking meth to deliver lol

Same tbh, literally the only thing missing from my build.
Alot of people speculate stock would return sometime in the middle of this month or January.
I also called Umart and Online Computers for rough etas for stock and they gave the same answer.
Should've grabbed this when it was $469 in my local umart for pickup but was on the fence last time.

    • It was everywhere last week for $469. Pretty shocking it ran out just like that.

    • same situation. I should've pulled the trigger on it but next day gone :(

  • They popped up on Amazon AU this morning, shipped from Amazon US for $438.30 with an in stock date of Feb 23.

Tried to add for about ten minutes but kept failing and now it's back to showing out of stock.

Yes, seen the same thing myself. I have ordered a 5800x from Amazon US whilst it was in stock mid December, still hasn't shipped.

Stock levels are terrible ATM, really wish I jumped on the Centrecom $859 5900x deal. Don't need anything above 5600x, just tired of having a build waiting on CPU.

  • Hey everyone I don't know if anyone is still waiting for stock (like myself) but I just noticed Harvey Norman's selling preorders for $469.

Not bad considering you can do any preorders anywhere else due to stock issues. Haven't pulled the trigger on this yet though, waiting at least until the middle of this month.

It's worth reconsidering if you really need a 5600x.

    Is it for gaming?
A 10600kf can be as low as $300 and will be indistinguishable unless CPU bottlenecked. Even when CPU bottlenecked it'll give very similar performance. There are a few extra costs with Intel like having to buy a cooler, and the extra costs of equivalent feature set motherboards too, but it should still end up cheaper. Plus it's not hard to find stock.

If it's not for gaming a 3700x or a 10700F might be faster for a similar price.
