    Hair Straightener $559.20

Surely this is a joke post ?

Do you post the same comment on the Dyson vacuum posts? There's a reason they're this price.

I don't think so. Have you checked?

        • +2

          No i have not checked.
My point is that you are questioning the price of this but you probably wouldn't question people spending $600+ on a dyson when they can get a kmart vac for $49…
Yes they are both a vacuum but one is a quality product and the other is a POS

Depends on the differences in value between the two items.

That doesn't look like an equitable comparison.

Genuinely interested - what's the reason? I could buy ten fairly good irons for the price of one of these. A $30 iron has lasted my wife about four years and counting. Surely they both heat up the contact element using electricity, so what is the Dyson doing that's so valuable?

          TL:DR (everyone I'd imagine)
So, is the Dyson straightener worth your money?
There's no denying the Dyson Corrale is a very fancy hair straightener. It's also very good. Just not $700 good.

Maybe it's $559 good? Still sounds crazy to me but if it's a tool you use daily and religiously, perhaps?

@Click_It: Thanks for taking the time to post that, I feel enlightened :-)

  • 20% off all dyson products thanks OP

  • So How many salons use these? Because I guarantee it's none!

Stick with the GHD or Muk.

For hair dryers stick with Parlux.

    • +2

Logic.. Do you see professional cleaners using Dyson battery vacs? NO! Stick with Henry Vacuums! Blah blah blah..

This is clearly not for salons. It's for single daily use. If they were $100 then Salons probably would use them though.

I've actually seen hair salons use the Dyson Hair Dryer.
