Inno3d GeForce RTX 3070 Twin X2 OC 8GB $929 + Shipping @ PCCG

1517

It's the cheapest price I've seen so far for a card that is actually available. It's a new model from Inno3D.

Wow .. new website name OzScalping 🤣🤣

But yeah I guess if you can't get anything else than way over rrp might be considered some sort of bargain

We should rename it as OzLeeching. 2015 user with 1 deal post and a million criticisms.

      • I'm not really a deal poster yeah .. but I do comments, with a focus on helping people understand the details of computer equipment.

For instance I was very early in telling people to wait for Ryzen 4000 laptops .. got some pushback against that .. but in time proven to be exactly true.

Same will happen here, I'm adding 'constructive criticism' helping people be aware the price is not really a bargain but rather inflated scalping and anyone tempted better be aware they are paying early adopter tax plus scalper margin.

Thanks for your comment sticking to topic of the specifics of the items and getting good bargains .. instead of ad hominem attacks /s .. more seriously though thanks for posting deals I see you posted a lot and good on you, thanks.

  • I expect their to be cards for the actual MSRP price of around $810, maximum $860

Never going to happen though. There's been a card at $905 though

Our currency is going through the roof vs USD. Why are import products still more expensive?

Scalping is the only thing make sense for me.

It takes a day for retailers to react to a drop in the AUD's value, and six months when it rises.

In economics the phrase is "prices are sticky down"

They have also been around $890 at umart

    Dont support the scalping business

    • +2

I don't support PCCG full stop.

If you want to match the price in the US, you will never buy a car or even a TV

    • +2

Looking at US car prices for luxury brands is very depressing

$929 for a Inno3D? Hmmm, I'd think twice even if it's Asus Strix.

    • +1

      Lol

  • +5

This is still way above RRP, take this to the forum please not the front page

  • +7

    An ugly card for 929

  • +3

    (profanity) these prices

  • +2

    RRP or bust!

  • +5

I do not recommend buying this card at this inflated price.

Also be aware PCCG are taking over a week to even ship in stock orders ATM.

  • +4

    Straight up not a bargain

  • +4

    Terrible price

  • +9

PCCG has gone down the toilet since they closed their store front for pick-ups and RMAs. They also haven't been answering their phones for months, using the pandemic as an excuse. (seriously an IT store can't work out how to route their number to mobile phones held by staff working from home?)

This is also a crap price for what is apparently one of the worst performing 3070s going around.

So this deal gets a neg from me.

    • +3

      Agree wholeheartedly.

$120 over RRP. Not a bargain.
