Surely you could do a little OC yourself on the GB card and get the same performance?
It has a mild OC out of the box, it's in a bit of a hotbox case so I haven't tweaked it further.
Gotcha, so just out of the box the Asus has a slightly higher OC?

Probably shouldn't have brought up the Gigabyte, more saying that I'm liking the 5600 XT in general
Many people underclocked their 5600xt 5700xt to avoid blue/green/black screens. OC is great for 3dmark furmark.
Got it on Black Friday for $330 after cashback. Really good card. It’s a silent card can’t hear any noise, and the temp is good too.
The default profiles at least on the 5700XT gear it towards being silent and never reach > 50% RPM even at 90 degrees C.
I got much better performance (running 4k) with more aggressive fan speeds… 66% is a reasonable balance.
Presume the smaller sibling performs much the same
$100 more for a 5700 if you can afford that much.
Now there's no more free game promos, and with 3050 / 3060 cards coming out soon, I wouldn't buy at this stage but it's still a decent price if you need a card now.Let's hope the 3050 and friends are sooner rather than later
They're not usually this price, and when they are they tend to sell out pretty quick
Agreed. So if you need one now better be quick :) These 5600/5700s are end of line.
However there might be better deals just around the corner, like say for this year a 3060 ti plus a bonus keyboard for $700-ish, or a 3050 or a 3060 + bonus games for $5-600ish early next year.
doubt any of that will be in stock for this holiday period of time…….
My Vega 56 OC can play Cyberpunk 2077 pretty well, so this card still is a valid choice.
