    Does the brand and country of origin matter? A serious question because some offer 12months, 24 months and 36 months warranty etc. so I guess it has something to do with material used?

    Costco batteries are still Exide yes? According to some Ozbargainers Repco's are Au-made Century, if that matters. Both excellent batteries ime. Didn't find Costco's normal price to be the best around when Iast bought. They have bi-annual 20% off sales if your battery happens to die at those particular times.

    Bunnings also has Exide at very good everyday prices.

      550ca Exide was $110 at Costco.. Bunnings was $189 or something near that…

    You meant it is in fact an everyday 25%? If so, it could be a false advertising but about 6 months ago my local Repco had only 20% on car batteries.

  These batteries are all made by Century but with Repco branding so quality is good and Aus manufacturer.
