Similar to a recent deal posted by: (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/591867). However, knowing shipping estimates due to the current pandemic, I prefer pickup at my local Harvey Norman.

Keep in mind that the Surface Pro 8 and Laptop 4 series of devices might be announced by Microsoft in the early part of next year. Main improvements being the Intel 11th Gen processors and re-introduction of LTE for the i5 based models.

The $1909 price for a Surface Pro 7 i7 with 16GB RAM and 256GB storage is a pretty tempting.

  Geez I remember buying the Pro 4 for uni, now its up to the pro 7 and pro X.

    I won a free surface book 2, and it’s an amazing laptop. Love it for doing all my uni work, and I’m a research student, so it’s ideal!

  Microsoft never offer base model (which is all I need) in black color 13.5".

  It's like they deliberately doing this, so you have to spend a few hundreds $$$ more just to get additional 128GB of SSD.
