Yeah. Why? Do you have any fact to back that up? How is it dealing with local tax legislations?

I guess they only have to have a few customers in each country to back that statement up…just marketing buzz words!

      • I think you're confusing "customers" with "resellers" ;)

Note: even in the unlikely event that you find this magically revolutionises how you run your business, after the first year you're stuck with $238/yr or having to change vendors again.

    • Also especially curious how they can back up claims like:
"Functionality available in no other system in the world."

Actually I have been using Xero for the last 18 months and I am quite happy using it to do my book keeping. In running a business, saving time = saving opportunity cost ~= saving money, although with Xero I'm at $49/month which is a bit expensive for my use, and it does not even come with payroll.

Now, here is something at $19.90/month for business users. Cheaper it is, but I can't find any review after 2 minutes of googling. The 2 minute tour is quite vague on what it can do. The "rep" here is not answering my question (but he did neg vote my comment). Should I save $30/month but potentially spend hours more, especially comes to BAS and tax submission time? Don't think so…

      • Hey there Scotty, I am simply a marketing rep and cannot provide an answer to all your questions. I however do recommend you trialing our software or at least sending in an email to to [email protected] with any questions you would like to have answered.

Our software is very new and thus is why there is very little information out regarding it. This we are attempting to change.

Addresses in Hong Kong, USA, United Kingdom, and Australia… worldwide I'm sure!

But why put all your business data on a worldwide connection that could NEVER be as secure as a standalone pc holding all your personal and business data which is backed up locally?

I dont see any benefit to this product that something more trusted like MYOB already offers, and that's what businesses value the most… trust and security of their information. This product is new, unknown, and published by a shopfront that could disappear as fast as it came.

Furthermore, the advertised 'discount price' is based on what? If it's a new product, then really you could be quoting a normal price of $5,000! What's the difference if no one has ever bought the product.

I have to neg this deal on this basis, but I can only suggest to the publisher that if they want to tempt businesses to try their product, they need to offer a trial period a hell of lot longer than 14 days. You're attempting to lock people into a 12 month subscription on a product that they have no hope in testing properly in months, let alone 14 days.

Good luck with your endeavour, but no way you are getting people to hand over $70 PLUS their valuable business data up front. Get people to use your product, rely on it, THEN charge them.

  • Why would a legit international company have a private domain registration with GoDaddy? It appears from the demo video that they are Australian based, with the demo showing an address in Qld, but who knows?

The interface looks quite nice and the feature set looks well thought out, but I don't use accounting software, so I don't know.
