          @soundboy5010: Yes but it contains a 1TB Hard Drive. Free is a hard price to beat for a spare drive if you get to keep the box after you cancel

            @Tendy: Box is rented, if you cancel, you have to return the box.

            You don't get a free Fetch TV Mini box to keep.

                @billabong: If you're prepared to pay the nonreturn fee, then yes you get to keep it.

                They are rented boxes, you do not own the box.

                If you buy it from HN, JB HiFi etc, then its yours and not an ABB Branded box

            @Tendy: It's the mini so it doesn't have a 1TB hard drive, plus you have to return it when you cancel anyway (and pay the shipping).

              @axel32: Optus never bothered to send the courier packaging for return, emailed them 3 time over 6 months. Now, I have an extra 1TB (Mighty) for photo backups.

              My assessment, is the cost, for courier to drop off the packaging and then when it's packed the courier comes by to pick it up - not cost effective for Optus.

                @ultrawires: Sounds like here all the costs involved in returning it will be paid by you, not ABB. And if you don't return it they'll charge you every month for the rental.

  This is a pretty lame offer.

  All you get is a 3 month free rental of the fetch mini. You have to pay for all the channel packages you want and also the return shipping after you cancel it at the end of 3 months.

  When taking everything into account, it's really not too much of a deal.
