      Centrecom dispatched the first few orders and cancelled the rest of the orders claiming the shipment was damaged. I had one of the orders, they sent me a payment reminder and I was about to pay when I saw a post on whirlpool about cancelled orders so thought I'll ask first.

      And they told me that my order had been cancelled, which they knew already when they sent me a payment reminder, so I would have paid them and then waited I don't know how long to get a refund, because they changed their mind about the deal - I don't buy the damaged shipment explanation, they would get replacement stock if it was.

      CentreCom are dodgy, this is a decent deal, though you might see better deals in the future.

    Cant really compare that Centrecom deal to this one assuming there are more units available on this deal. At the moment this deal is reasonable but given the situation SGT and the Prime, I would have expected a 32gb version for this deal to make it a very good bargain.

The 32GB if really comes to this price, the qty will not be more than 10 units. Those are loss of hundreds of dollars per unit.

Obviously you are not in the business to lose money but maybe you know something we don't and you just want to get rid of you 32gb models.

          I like the way you think :). We are expecting 64GB prime coming in (hopefully before christmas). The 32GB prime will not be coming in this year. Realistic choice this christmas for Asus will be: TF101 16GB and 32GB version, and maybe 64GB prime. May more able to update when we really get the stock of prime.

      I am doubting another Acer 500 will appear at that price again. If that does, the stock qty will for sure very limited. The advantage of this deal over A500: you get an Asus keyboard docking with extra battery that can let you use the tablet for longer hours that any other tablet and at the same time use it for typing where necessary and as a stand. Comes with 2 x full size USB port too for your external drive connections.

    The important questions:
    Does the price include shipping? If not, how much extra is it?
    Is it local (ie Australia-based) stock or overseas? How long will it take to be delivered?
    and

      :). We don't and never will post a deal with less than 10 qty unless it is clearance products or something just not so popular. We understand the high risk of cheap traffic and getting the disadvantage of offending the majority of people not able to enjoy the deal. As such, all our previous epic deals last towards the end of the deal (with exception of the overly popular xbox360 deals tonight). We do have lots of stock for this transformer, but judging on the popularity from facebook increase, we honestly think it may last for 20 minutes to half and hour the most.

      Also: Our offers and deals are not limited to ozbargainers. We have our own customer base supporting us through our deals with our Epic hour sale being one of the most popular currently. The previous epic sale was just going way too quicker than we thought, as we just changed a new server the day before and this is our first test of our epic sale, and everything was too smooth (we have 1 page checkout), making buying very fast and many orders get through each minute.

      That's strange. I use MX Player and never had an issue with any sort of file. I usually play 1.2GB DVD quality movies.

          Hi there, I play all sort of files. avi, mp4, flv, mkv, etc;

          I'm not sure what you mean by h264 codec. The mx player I'm using has its own mx player codec (which for some reason you have to download and install seperately).

          The mx player(armv7) is specially for tablets with tegra 2 processor and at the time of playback it uses both cores of the processor.

    However, it should actually say 8pm AEDT to 9pm AEDT because you actually run on daylight savings time and not Queensland time.

    I got my eee TF101 during the epic hour a few weeks ago, then I flew out to my mining job and it was delivered while I was away. Sheesh, I was sure bustin' to get home and give it a test drive. So I've only been using it less than a week, including to enter this text and I have just a few words to say … GRAB YOURSELF ONE FROM THIS DEAL! They're (the TF101's) awesome, for example that genuine Asus dock is an intelligent device in itself, and its firmware gets updated as part of the free, over wi-fi upgrade.

    Ozbargain were great too. My order was going through when their system crashed so I rang up next morning. There was no hassle, they didn't try to squirm out of the deal and told me straight away over the phone that they could "see" my order but it wasn't going through for some reason, that they'd refund the transaction at least but would try to get me a machine if possible, would phone me back in a few hours when they'd figured out what went wrong and they were as good as their word. THAT's excellent customer focus and they've won my respect bigtime.

      In the US, Bestbuy had it for sale on thanks giving for $250, without the keyboard. Post thanksgiving, they sold it for $299. Lets say $50 for the keyboard, $350, with free shipping would have be a no brainer deal. Iconia is a pretty decent tablet, but looks like this is a better one. I think, for $380 + 13, this is a pretty decent buy. Even if the price falls, it might not fall by more than $30 I think…. I am going to get one.

    This looks like a decent deal although i'll be waiting for the inevitable price drop when the Kal-el Tegra 3 tablets come flooding in.
    It's interesting how everyone is raving about the 89 cents you save on a Marketplace app (admittedly, i've bought a bunch of them ;-)) but save $100 here and people are saying it's just ok…hmmmm, me thinks something is a little odd in OzBargain land…
    Yes I get that as a percentage the saving is massively more, but I don't know about you but i'd prefer money than 'percentages' in my wallet.
