    this is total BS, I added it 2mins from 8pm, sold out in the next 2 mins. This is not good enough. Only lasted 2 mins at the MAX, I am sure the other 2 deals with 32GB + Docking lasted more than that. REP better have a good explanation about this deal.

I'm not deeply involved in eCommerce but I've been a member of this site long enough to say that the ratio between votes and sales is always larger than 1:1.

    Wow. Epic hour = Epic fail. I got one in my cart but when I proceeded to check it out, it says there's no more stock.
    You need to fix this. If it's in my cart, reserve it for me and give me time to pay.

      On another note, congrats on the server not melting down but I think when doing deals like this it is really important that you have an architecture which reserves the stock for people and gives them sufficient time to checkout through paypal… People never like filling out the paypal page only to find out that its run out of stock while they were doing it…

        I already mentioned, we had over 100 stock. As you guys did not expect any server down issue, imagine how many people are doing checkout at similar time?
        Looking at the stats: I can tell you at least, from the record, that page had over 700 people camping on the page ( i was checking the back, that is why i warn you guys this deal will go VERY FAST if server can handle). I honestly have the say, this type of deal, with the new server, it truly can become a 5 minute deal(unless we somehow can have 1000 stock of this), and to make it more successful, i need the honesty feedback/votes from you guys, so we can make sure we try our best to get even more stock to do it.

But i am not sure if there will be more transformer with dock coming before christmas, we actually grabbed more than 300 stock from our suppliers before, and this was our last batch, unfortunately the demand is too big this time. We would try our best next week to see if we can get something out. No promise yet.

    I got one.. and be honest did not feel how rush it was… I actually placed 3 in cart then realized limited 1 ppl then updated to 1 again, then change paypal payment method as can get more reward points, then type in all stupid info again when check out, then done.

    After that, go back to deal, it is still on… want to buy another one,,, but give up eventually.

    I understand the disappointment, and given how quickly they sold out I'm glad not to be feeling the angst, but there are almost 2600 clicks on this deal. Add the interest from SE's established email list/customer base + Christmas, and in netland you've got the potential for dozens to sell in seconds, easily hundreds in a couple of minutes.
    Whether SE had dozens or hundreds to sell is something we may never know, but let's not give the rep a cyber-lynching. Some benefit of the doubt at least for the rep having a genuine intent to please rather than scam.
