$9 for a 1800LM LED globe looks a good deal. It Still has 3 more leaves after I bought one from Bunnings Gladesville, NSW. Only B22 on special. E27 head still selling at the price $16.5

    Until you buy a more efficient Philips one.
    I got one of these and it was large and ugly (the heatsink style looks freakish up on ceiling). Then I got a Philips one which for 19W gives you 2300LM which you can definitely tell the difference.

      I agree. Love the Phillips better than Osram.

      3000k colour temp is nicer than the yellow 2700k from Osram too.

        Best part is RRP not much different anyway, IIRC Phillips was around $20 and Osram was $16.

  Stevens’s power law would suggest just getting a 1400lm bulb 💡 for under half this price on special would be perceived as nearly as bright.

    Fascinating! This might explain why I've not been able to tell the difference between 700 lumen and 850 lumen LED down light kits (but can with higher rated fixtures).
