I only came to realise how crap Kogan was during the past few months when WFH. I would’ve been able to deal with it if these plans had VoWifi or VoLTE but unfortunately they don’t. My calls frequently dropped and sometimes people on the other end couldn’t hear me at all. Ended up just buying a Boost sim with 110GB for $139.
If you do decide to go with Kogan, make sure to take advantage of the Amex deal - Spend $100 get $20 back.

Could not agree with you more. My calls constantly drop out with Kogan and internet connection is always spotty. Would not recommend even if it is cheap.
I had the opposite. My kogan/vf sim was working reliably in March, April, May while the work Telstra connection was congested to the point of not being able to make a call during business hours.

Just to contrast all these negative comments. I have 4g 100% of the time and have never had any call problems. Been using Kogan for 3 years now and live in eastern Sydney. However, when going to rural areas I still had 3g for the most part with occasional dark spots.
Awesome timing, was being reminded by the wife daily that her's was expiring tonight so leaving it to the last minute paid off :P

Kogan is pretty good, in my experience in Sydney metro. Very cheap especially if you can combine with zip pay (using prezee) for an extra 10% off.

I've been using Kogan/Vodafone for about 18 months. No real complaints as I don't go rural too often and ignore most calls. I used to use their $16.90 a month for 3Gb and rarely used all of it. Mrs and I picked up this deal about 3 weeks ago. Great deal $10 a month for 20 GB.
i’ve been using Kogan for a couple years now, almost always have 4G in metro Adelaide
Has anyone noticed their 4G dropping to a H+ when in the middle of call? Sometimes I really need to look up something or still browsing the web with the call in the background, but the internet gets painfully slow. Back to 4G immediately after call is hung up.
Thought it was a older-model phone issue but recently got a new one and this still happens.
