$1 cheaper than the upcoming Big W $49 Boxing Day Sale for PS4 and XB1. However it doesn't include Switch like Big W. PS5 version is $58, slightly cheaper than the last deal. Edit: Switch and PS5 are now $48 too on Amazon.

      Works well enough. There's some frame drops and very obvious pop in but doesn't detract from the overall experience imo.

    Fenyx is probably my favourite PS5 title behind Demon’s Souls. A very underrated gem. This is an amazing price for it.

    Another game for pre order that dropped to a decent price is Balan Wonderworld. I picked up the switch version for $69 as I feel its the console to be played in. However PS4 is $69 and ps5 is $79. (PS4 has free upgrade to ps5)

    Thought the $54 price from Ubisoft for Fenynx was a good deal… Damn you Amazon!

    Might wait till Valhalla drops around the $48 mark

      Ubisoft rarely do a GOTY re release since they already sell a similar thing from day 1. ie: gold/ ultimate edition.

    for games that have free upgrade to PS5, even at the same price, can someone explain to me why they would buy the PS5 version over the PS4 version as they can play it on either console…. the only thing i can think of is to show you got a PS5 game with the PS5 case, but is that it?

      Pretty much. Also not having to download as large a patch as you’ll have PS5 content already on disc.

      PS5 discs also hold their value better for resale.

          I certainly think so. Especially once we're out of this PS4 to PS5 transition and PS5 consoles are more plentiful keeping up with demand. Most people that want physical discs do so for collections.

            @Hybroid: Personally if there's a free upgrade, I only buy the PS4 version. I get to sell it to 2 sets of audiences or give it to a friend still on a PS4, and if I really need to buy a copy for collection, I reckon any game that has a PS4 version will have a PS5 version available for pretty cheap a year later anyway.
