    Upvoted. Good deal.

If anyone want the 512 gb Samsung EVO, here is the link: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/592657.

This deal is nearly 30% cheaper for 25% less storage capacity.

But would the Samsung EVO brand make a difference?

    • I think Evo was just Amazon exclusive… Same thing

      • +4

Evo select is amazon exclusive. It's just a rebranded Evo plus. Which is a much better card than SanDisk ultra.

        • +1

          Agree
          SanDisk failure rate is high
          Same for USB sticks.
          SanDisk KEEP AWAY

    • +3

Evo select is suitable for 4k video recording, SanDisk ultra is not.
Evo select is u3 rated versus u1 for ultra.
Evo select is better if you need the faster speed.

  • It's old model, this one up to 100MB/s New model is up to 120MB/s

It was $62 back in October https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/572276

    • During Black Friday sale, it was $69. so this time beats BF sale by $1 :)

      • +1

I paid $62 for the one i purchased from Amazon AU in October so don't see how this deals beats it ?

  • How do you know this card not fake? I heard Amazon have alot of fake sd card?

    • We don't to be honest, but at least they have excellent return policy.

This is fulfilled from the Sandisk Australia Store so seems 99% safe

Any good microSD deals up to 256GB for 4K video recording?

    • Yeah wish OZB community payed just as close attention to UHSII cards or whatever the 4K ideal standard is. It's great for still photos as well, definitely lowers the buffer time or whatever between shots on my lumix.
