JB you do this deal so regularly it's just lip service by now 😂

Give us 20% off gaming accessories and then we might talk.

    • +10

Not sure if joking or not, but there's 20% off gaming accessories as well.

      • Dead serious I is. Sorry didn't realise there's 20% off , is that boxing day sales.

Lord of the Rings 4K still missing from their website :(

    Hurry up and match Amazon!

I have refreshed amazon’s LOTR UHD too many times today 😅

      • +1

Been waiting for LOTR trilogy UHD to show up on JB again as well. Annoyed that I didn't pull the trigger when it first went up on preorder for $63

I'd expect it as a lightning deal. Amazon didn't list it at all until this week and have been dribbling it out with stock of a one or two at a time since (at full price ~$99, so don't worry). So, it's a fair assumption they have a bit of stock held back.

I'll hang on for Ultimate Collectors’ Edition dropping in 6-7 months, definitely worth the wait.

        • Same here

If you’re in no rush, you can order in store with zero deposit and pick it up when it arrives. You still get the 30% discount, assuming the order is placed while the deal is running.

That’s what I did. Arrived in store two weeks later.

      • +1

Interesting, might have to try this when JB re-opens if Amazon doesn't come to the party.

      • +1

Thanks mate. Will try on Saturday if Amazon don't do any deals.

        • +1

Definitely worth it for the price. I have no idea how long it will take to come in though. Maybe I was lucky with 2 weeks? Either way it's an option.

      • Just tried this with the store and they said they can't sell it, simply can only put a name against stock for when it arrives… where did you order it ?

        • At JB Knox. All they did for me was give me a receipt which had a $0 deposit. Paid in full two weeks later when it arrived and only paid the 30% off promo price since that’s what was advertised when I ordered it.

I could probably find the receipt later when I get home if that helps.

          • @bushywookiee: Just tried and they refused as it is considered a pre-order.

    • I got in when it was a cheap pre-order and it just arrived after 2 weeks of delays.

  • Seem Amazon also down their price.

Brilliant timing! I just upgraded to a 65” Sony X9000H a couple of weeks ago and received my PS5 today. Ended up purchasing Joker, Jaws, Alien and Bladerunner 2049. I’m looking forward to finally experiencing 4K.

Same here, I got a 65 LG CX. Should be sweet as!

      • Nice! Those LG OLEDs look incredible.

      It begins… :)

    I love that interrobang.

  • Can you exchange or return BluRay DVD without receipt?

  • I have 22 4K titles on a list of 4K's to buy. Funny thing is that I purchased my current 4K tv on boxing day last year (Samsung RU7100 - not the best but an ok entry level 4K experience) and through January picked up a few 4K titles but mostly blurays. A fair number of the 22 4K titles I'm chasing are just double (or triple counting the dvd version) dipping the same blurays I got a year ago.

    • I bought a few 4K titles but I don't have a 4K TV or player XD

I approve of OP's profile pic!

    4K Blu-rays: 2 for $40, now 2 for $28.

    I grabbed a few ;)
