    I have the Arlo Ultra and have just past the one year free subscription period. Now they want $21 per month for cloud access and a few other bits. No thanks. Go with the Eufy.

    Edit: you can store locally but they restrict your access.

    Arlo Pro 2 doesn't need a subscription for cloud storage and you can store locally too.

  I have the Arlo Ultra. Has anyone turned on the CVR to cloud subscription. I have mine on a Telstra 40/100 NBN (speed test 35/110) and it cant keep the upload synced and keeps creating gaps in the timeline? Arlo cant seem to fix it and seem to have given up saying it must be a Telstra problem. It appears their servers cant handle a fast upload from Australia. My modem runs at 10% CPU and has 95% bandwidth still available when running CVR (ASUS RT-AC5300).

    I think your internet is fine. Don’t trust arlo support, they’ll do their best to blame someone else.
