Needed a GoPro Hero9 and noticed a good deal at Ryda:
$729 (supposed RRP) down to $588.85 down to $529.97 in the current sale.

I spoke to one camera shop who said Ryda don't always have Australian stock, but do grey import some lines - the price on these was below their cost. However Officeworks could match it, which brought it down to $503.47. Only a few dollars more than their Hero8 Black price - good deal if you want the 9!

There's also the Hero9 Bundle (containing The Handler (Floating Hand Grip), Magentic Swivel Clip, 32GB SD card, spare battery and case) that only some stores have available, which at Ryda is:
$799 (RRP) down to $688.85 down to $619.97 in the current sale.

That's the cheapest price I've seen outside of GoPro's direct pricing with the subscription added.

      They are super useful to have if you have multiple batteries, and allows the batteries to be charged separately while the GoPro stays mounted somewhere (like on a bike mount). You'll save time in the long run!

        Im surprised Ted's has a good price.

        I have the dual charger and spare batteries for my hero 4 as well as a lot of accessories, I just needed then for my Hero 9. Might see if OfficeWorks price beats.

    Funny enough, the non-bundle Go Pro 9 costs more at Go Pro web site, A$629.95. Go figure.

      I'm a big fan of GoPro and ordered that deal in November, however it was the biggest nightmare and wouldn’t recommend it upon anyone.

      A week into the order I realised I hadn't been receiving status updates.
      So I tried getting through to their chat support, always unavailable, no number to call, I tried all hours of the day, nothing. After 3 days I finally got through and I found out the order was cancelled. Why? God knows. They refused to give me a reason, as if it was top secret info and I wasn’t the person who placed the order.
      After chatting a multiple times during the following week, they continued to say that the refund was on its way, still nothing.
      I finally raised it with PayPal, which as expected, GoPro didn’t respond in the 2 weeks and I was automatically credited with the win/refund. Took almost a month end to end.

      What gets me is how they can straight up reject an order with no explanation, cancellation email, or prompt refund. They even suggested I create another order or just buy it locally, so stupid.
      Obviously others may have a different experience, but read their forums, it's a shit show.

      This Ryda listing is a good deal, especially if you can price match at OW, you should be able to grab a battery, sd card and handle and still be within GoPro's bundle price (excluding the 1 year membership which isnt a deal breaker)

        Sometimes it is better to deal directly with shops where you can get the products much faster! And support local Australian businesses and staff in the process.

        They charged me twice and sent me 2 packages, then refused to pay for return shipping (their fault) so paypal help me to take money back and now i have 2 units 🙄🙄🙄🙄

    Unfortunately, this GoPro Model is a waste! I have had my hero 9 returned under warranty because of a blurry shutter issue, hoping it's an isolated case. But to my surprise, even the replacement have the same issue. Hence, this is a general hardware problem that they couldn't fix. Hero 5 still is my preferred most stable HW/SW Gopro. This one is a rubbish, caveat!
