Hey guys, looking to do a new build with a budget of $2000 bucks. Looked on ple website at their pre-made gaming towers and tbh I wasn't impressed. Their $2000 build only had a GTX 1660 l. Was hoping to get at least a 2070 for ray tracing

Really depends on what game you play.
If you do not play CPU bound games like MS flight simulator, definitely invest in a massive graphics card, 30 series for sure.
Do not buy 20 series atm. Wait for 30 series price drop or just bite the bullet and pay 100-200 extra if you need it now.
My mates philosophy is to invest big on case, PSU, KB/mouse and monitor. These stays for 5+ years while all the others might get upgraded maybe in 1-2 years.

I personally think it's not worth purchasing your own components now.
I am unsure you'd be able to find a PC for under the prices of this deal. My next PC will definitely be a pre-built. I'll just swap out the SSD with my own and I'm set.
