Linsar 40" Smart Full HD TV $239.99 @ Supercheap Auto

210

On clearance at Supercheap Auto for $269.99 $239.99. TheGoodGuys are currently selling the same TV but with a DVD Player for $369.

Powered by Android TV, with Google playstore and built in Chromecast.

Has pretty good reviews on TheGoodGuys and Supercheap Auto's website.

Only downside is that it's not 4K, but it's still decently priced for a solid 1080p Smart TV with Android TV and many features.

Mod 5/2: Down to $239.99 but limited stock remaining.

Gotta wonder when an auto store sells a TV, is this a sign of things to come or it a clearance by a brand that wont be here in 6 months.

And how does it get reviews already on their website when they only just started selling them. All 5 star!!

Not saying its not a bargain, but some of this deal doesnt really pass pub test

brand that wont be here in 6 months.

undoubtedly, business model is such that nobody is expected to claim warranty beyond DOA. If Australia had mandatory end-of-life return-to-vendor provision, this landfill wouldn’t be sold

  • What is the android tv version?

    • Looks to be at least Oreo from the pic in the manual. I did not see anywhere where the manual actually stated the version.

Since when did Supercheap Auto begin selling a Television?.

What next. Selling home stereo systems. Or maybe gaming consoles.

  • Can this potentially be used as an additional computer monitor? Pretty good prize for the size, and has HDMI port!

    • +1

You can use basically any TV/Screen as a PC monitor if you have the right cable which is usually HDMI now but sometimes those blue VGA cables are needed.

The only time you'll have problems or drama is fast-paced games or anything requiring low latency and possibly accurate colour representation. I wouldn't get a TV to play games on though.

  • Ended up picking it up. As i use a second tv to watch news, sports etc. Instead of my OLED. Honestly not a bad little tv for the price.

    • Now, $239.00. Hope you used ClubPlus as they will credit you any difference.

      • I think i signed up when i picked up (afterpay). Tried to do it online when it was in cart wouldn't let me. Oh well. Thank you for pointing it out!
