[XB1] Cyberpunk 2077 £28.92 (~A$51.53) @ CJS Cdkeys (VPN Required)

500

You need a VPN (Brazil) to redeem.

Redeem here:
https://redeem.microsoft.com

This is the cheapest for digital so far and the game runs fine on the Series X, not so good on any of the other consoles, but I’m told the issues are not as ongoing as the internet would have you believe on the other consoles (ask them if they have actually played it).

That said you can spend a day customising your character then play once all the patches are out.

This is a code for Xbox that you need a VPN to redeem on your Aussie, etc… account.

Edit. https://www.cjs-cdkeys.com/products/Cyberpunk-2077-VPN-ACTIVATED-Digital-Download-Key-(Xbox-One%7B47%7DSeries-X).html?setCurrencyId=4 Argentenia VPN key at $60.56 is now the cheapest.

It's excellent. Has its issues but a great game.

      Edit: PC

      • +11

Not sure if I'd call it great, since even looking past the bugs there's a lot of bad design decisions. Like the cop system (or rather, lack thereof), really?

        Solid 7/10, IMO.

        • Cop chasing AI exists and had been found already. As for getting that implemented properly? We shall see.

I had a quick play on my brothers PC with high end specs (3080 etc). In my opinion It’s a pretty average game, I found the car driving physics no better than GTA San Andreas a number of years back. And the world interaction no better than Far Cry or Crysis. Battlefield or COD had much better gun fighting as well. These are all old games and there’s heaps of hype around this. I noticed heaps and heaps of bugs, floating surfaces and textures and I got caught on things. Maybe the story line is interesting, I didn’t get into that.

I was expecting much more from both a graphics quality and playability perspective.

        • +1

U cant say its an average game when U say it is not as good as GTA

Cuz GTA is No.1 game so far.

So 2077 is at least top level game

I ve played 2077 around 100 hrs with my 1070, I am very happy

          Dun just try it

        • not driving game, not shooter, is rpg. yes bugs, some systems run fine, should get fixed. story = good, quick play may not reveal strong aspects. graphics can be breathtaking, probably lowered settings for performance.

    Yo CJ

    • +4

All you had to do was follow the god damned train

      • I'll have 2 number 9s, a number 9 large, a number 6 with extra dip, a number 7, two number 45s, one with cheese and a large soda

  • +16

Great game, really enjoying it on my Series X. It sucks the performance issues on last gen consoles have overshadowed all the positives of this game.

    • +1

Lazy $2500 and a time machine to pre order to do that, but yes it looks amazing on great hardware.

    • +10

I'm enjoying it pretty well on a 1060.

      • +5

Have 1060 here as well, if you call lowest settings enjoyment then you can enjoy pretty much any game anyway

        • -4

          I'm not on lowest.

          • +1

@Gehirn: Lol what are you trying to prove? This card hits 40-50fps on pc even with low settings on 1080p. I’m not even talking 4K here lmfao

            https://youtu.be/jwSv72hmRI4

            • @nikoris: Yes you got me. I came onto ozbargain to lie about my experience playing a game.

              • @Gehirn: @nikoris that video literally shows the game running on med settings totally playable. Some people don't GAF about frames lmao.

*edit: just continued the vid even high looks totally playable lol.

                • -1

@TheGoodPart: ‘Playable’ is totally different than ‘enjoy the game at its fullest’, as OP said.

Also, I would personally never consider 30fps 1080p low settings on pc as playable in 2021

          • @Agret: Everything is on low or medium, it only hits 50fps and thats not even 1080p lol (he sets the resolution at 80% of 1080p)

That's playable but you are transforming the game to look like its 2014

    • +1

hmm, runs well on my 1080ti on 1440 p
I would imagine easy 1080p on lower cards

      • -3

its not about running well, its about running well on max settings. Did you watch the youtube video?

        • +2

I have played countless games on lower settings. Eg doom 2 on a 486 SX 33.

If the gameplay is there the graphics settings become less of an issue.

If all you have is eye candy, you have an ordinary game.

        • The vid is boring and on ytube it doesn't look any better then my game play, maybe if your sitting there and can experience 4k but at what cost and for what gain

Gains on spending 3,4k just to play this game on Max settings are laughable

There are plenty of vids showing you how to tweek this game to get good frame rate and have low impact on visuals

          And last point
If you want to show mad gfx you show it at night when you can actually see rtx at play

    • +2

      LowSpecGamer has entered the chat

    • Your comment is almost as pointless as my life

    • Ran fine on my 2080s in 4k, I'm assuming due to DLSS which was set to Auto. Didn't measure frame rates but felt good enough.

The game itself though, kinda felt like a GTA clone and kinda hard to get stuck into, may revisit to some day..

  • +7

    Not worth buying on xb1

    • +5

If you have an original XB1 hell no, but this key gets you the next gen upgrade included

    • +6

A negative vote is an important head's up to prospective buyers who had heard the buzz and seen some ads and will buy it without looking further into the controversy.

Lol that's so patronizing. How about people read some reviews, watch some gameplay videos and make up their own minds before dropping $50

      • -2

        My apologies for offending you.

Clearly everyone who purchases an upvoted 'bargain' does their due diligence beforehand. My bad.

I find it funny that you would rather protect your own ego from admitting you've made a bad purchase, than protect the lowest common denominator from doing the same.

Treat others like you expect to be treated.

        Enjoy the game!

    • +4

On one hand it's definitely not what it was said to be, but on the other, it's actually an alright game. This is coming from someone who didn't follow the hype and only saw the marketing after I'd played the game. This price is around what I'd say it's worth if it weren't horribly bugged.

I hope consumers can learn from this and realise pre-release expectations drummed up by publishers are always way off, developers can't be trusted to reliably comment on the features that they want to put in their game (No Man's Sky, anyone?), and that we should push for better refund policies for games. Buuuuut that's wishful thinking.

  • +6

Hi guys, based on my experience with CJS in the past, I cannot recommend anyone buy anything from them. Yes, the majority of the time you'll buy a key from them and it'll probably work, and you won't have any issues. However, if you happen to have any issues at all, expect to deal with the worst support team imaginable. I got Total War Three Kingdoms from them, and the key didn't work. They acknowledged the issue but instead of refunding me or giving me another key they kept telling me they're "Looking into it" and made me wait over a week before finally refunding me the broken key. Absolutely unacceptable and I implore everyone to stay as far away as possible.

You need to understand that during that waiting period I had no idea whether they were going to give me another key, or refund me. Meaning I had no idea if I should go buy a copy from another store, or simply wait for another key. This was really the worst part about it.

    • +2

You got a refund and that should have been a miracle in itself.

    • +1

I also had bad experience with them when I was buying XBOX gold subscription cards. It was the first time I used CJS and they were selling backorder keys without telling you that it was backorder. The checkout page says it was in stock and everything but when I tried to redeem the key it says it is out of stock. I waited for a couple of days, they never restocked the keys. Contacted their support and again took a couple days for them to reply says yes they are out of stock and don't have a timeline for restock. So they are basically selling false promises. Got my money refunded though.

  • I paid with PayPal and the code worked fine. PayPal should be safe way to pay with some protection

  • Hmm when I follow the link it comes up at $69.98 any ideas what in doing wrong?

    • Yeah looks like the price has gone back up. Still cheap atm for digital

  • +1

https://www.cjs-cdkeys.com/products/Cyberpunk-2077-VPN-ACTIVATED-Digital-Download-Key-(Xbox-One%7B47%7DSeries-X).html?setCurrencyId=4 Argentenia VPN key at $60.56 is now the cheapest. Mods do I expire the post or update?

  • damn so tempted around the $50 mark. i have a series X though im just as tempted to wait for the bug fixes and next gen update to play it with the ray tracing

  • +1

I reckon it's a better idea to buy it on GOG Russian, it's much cheaper. What you only need to do is use a VPN to get the deal as I did.

    • +3

      for xb1?

    • Cheers for pc tip

  • There's a reason their share price has dropped so much… Still way too expensive for what it is.

    • -1

I am happy to pay $77

Its a good game for sure

  • +1

I would say wait for GOTY edition if you want to play it so the bugs are ironed out and there is more content. Right now, the game is boring(opinion), bug-ridden and has terrible performance across the board(what you say is acceptable performance is not GOOD performance). CDPR intentionally released a piece of shit game, self-admittedly withheld review copies for XB1 and PS4 because they knew the performance was so bad and put embargos on gameplay footage until after release to hide the playability. Scumbag company.

  • Better vehicle handling definitely makes a difference.

  • Bought and refunded my Xb1 version already. I think the game is only worth under $40 in its current state. If they can sort out some of the glaring oversights on last gen consoles then I might consider trying it again.

  • +2

Agree with comments. Paid $35 for PC and enjoyed 60 hours of gameplay but I wouldn’t pay over $40

    Pros:
    - Character development
    - Decent story
    - Enjoyable gameplay
    - Stealth or Full Attack avail
    - Multiple Endings possible

    Cons:
    - Constantly crashed (1080TI, 1700X, 16GB RAM)
    - Some side quests buggy wont let you progress
    - Perk system confusing and slow to unlock
    - Guns confusing at times

A lot of hard work went into making this game. It’s not perfect but it’s amazing they pulled off a game such as this in a politically correct world we live in now.

    • +1

I agree I jumped on the Russian VPN deal and it’s been good value for $36, if I paid $80+ I would be more disappointed, my 3 year old PC rig 1080, 8700k and 32 gig ram runs it ok in UW 2560x1080 (45-55 FPS). Plenty of bugs in the game but it hasn’t impacted on my experience. Plus as they patch it, it will only get better, and they will!, they have Allready covered full development costs even with the XB PS refund offer.

  • +1

Runs just fine in the One X as well, not a lot of info online about that but can confirm it’s perfectly playable

    • +2

I had heard that as well but it’s a tough crowd to please here. I was very happy to find it for $50. I remember waiting for gta v to drop under $30 to buy it and I waited a very long time for that.

      • Happy to find it for $45 for my OG Xbox One

        • Paid 80 for a local hard copy. Don’t mind for cdpr given all the value I got out of the Witcher franchise.

  • I'm playing it on a PS4 Pro and think it's fine. Really amazing game, totally sucked me in.

I know the 1.1 patch will be out soon and fix a lot of stuff, perhaps a couple of extra FPS.

Base console people, I can't recommend.
