I am not associated to Loke. They are tech supplier of rewards platform. Also deal with Baskins and robins, Nandos and other rewards systems.
It is connected to a back end POS called Kounta/lightspeed

  • Malwarebytes says your link is a trojan

Is it bread in a can or can in a bread?

    • GB and Can drink
      All fixed

      • Great Britain and Can drink wow that is a mighty nice deal but I will have to pass unless the EU is included.

Could you explain a bit more about your app?

Where is the food coming from… partner restaurants/caterers/your kitchen??

    How does it work?

    • I assume they just bought a bunch of garlic bread and canned drinks and now need to get rid of it.

Either way I am scared to click the link on desktop or download the app.

      • +1

Why would you be ordering garlic bread for pick up in Brisbane - when your Profile shows you are in Sydney?

Their garlic bread is normally $4 on the menu.

Free Pepperoni Pizza in their app!!

        • Oh I am not ordering I am just curious if the link or app is malicious but probably not they are just a food business.

      • +1

        Hmmmm Nope.
I have away $40,000 in vouchers in 2019
Probably given away 100 plus pizzas, cookies and Chupa Chups in the last 6 weeks

It's what I do… Finding new customers cost money. And way cheaper to get in the door than a pay per click campaign.

        • Smart yeah I am just gonna put it out there I am not a business minded person and know nothing about marketing or advertising for a business so kudos to you nice work man keep it up.

I guess you make it back in other combos and items.

I look at restaurants a lot and wonder how some cheap places manage to make anything back but my guess is fries and drinks have a huge profit margin as well as pizzas.

Yeah finding new customers for a small loss makes sense.

          Very Nice.

  • What about us Aussie Battlers on a budget with School Kids?

For some reason I keep reading the first sentence as:

NO! One Needs to be Hungry like it is a statement that somebody needs to be hungry.. haha oh man what a first sunday of the year..

hi how are you no its how hi are you no

also this is under the pizza tag so I am assuming this is all coming from a pizza store?

  • Check out their old posts, they are legit. Seems to be a virtual restaurant of some sort. They've got FB presence as well:

  • Wow. Their Google reviews are a crime against humanity. Five 5* reviews from a person named Shrey, four 5* reviews from people with the last name Mellick (coincidentally the same as the publisher of the app on the App Store) all saying the same thing.

Their Strathpine store is slightly better, but still has quite a lot of negative reviews (including for SMS spamming), most of them with a response from the owner calling the customer a liar, saying that Uber customers aren't their customers and to complain to Uber about burnt pizza (lolwut?), declarations to not come back, and just all round abysmal customer service. Negative reviews prior to the new guy taking over 10 months ago seem to have been a) less, and b) not met with abuse, blame, and deflection.

Based on their reviews alone I'd stay far away.

    • Seems kind of expected from a business with a very small staff trying to serve a large customer base.

Basically they trying their best and hardest and some nights it falls flat other times they do ok.

What can I say trying to meet supply and demand is not an easy balancing act.

      • Abusing the customers, even if the customer is wrong, is not on. There's a professional way to tell a customer that you believe they're wrong, and this guy's way is not it. And how about the fake reviews?

        • I am 50/50 on that because you never know if the customer is right or wrong.

Some people might be trying to take advantage of a small business and then how do you justify that.

But I do agree that maybe the method used to tell off the customer is not completely right and there are better ways to do it.

Yeah it feels a bit amateurish tbh all over.

I don't know I am stepping out of this one it has too many controversial ? all over the place.

But I commend the guy and his team for trying that is what I am all for.

          • @AlienC: I'm not 50/50 on it. When the guy consistently abuses everyone who gives negative feedback, he absolutely loses the benefit of the doubt. What's that saying? If you see one…, then you see a …, but when everyone else is a …, maybe you're the …?

Side note, when the guy is complaining that he can't keep up with the orders, maybe giving out tens of thousands of dollars worth of free orders isn't the greatest way to promote the business?

@[Deactivated]: Maybe you should offer to give him some free consulting on how he should conduct business you never know you might Gordon Ramsay the place and turn it around.

He seems to be trying his best but obviously can't provide professional level of service but you seem to know how to do why not renovate his business per se and make him the next tetsuya.

I'm being serious you can help this man from his marketing to his customer relations to whatever other gap or holes this man has in his current way of doing business.. Or maybe this is how he wants his business to be like I don't know but there is only one way to find out be the change you want to see in the world my friend.
