How's it an 1 year au warranty.. they send them back to Hong Kong if you have a problem and will wait months. Crazy

    Don't forget the $1000 delivery.

In my opinion it simply isn't worth getting a grey import for a high value model like this.

I'd only consider a grey import for a phone I couldn't get in Australia, and then only for a mid range device or below.

Simply too costly and random if you have issues

    • Are we sure iPhone from HK cannot get warrenty here? I used to have one bought from HK, it seems apple stores here helped me multiple times in the past.

also i have called Apple Care and it seems there is no difference in terms of warranty on issues due to where the iPhone is from. In the scenario of replacement, i am not sure if Apple can replace a HK model with AU one. So replacement i do see an issue.

Anyone has negative experience of purchasing an iPhone from BuyBuyBox?

          Buy2Much you Think2Much.

On a serious note, i am thinking to buy one from BBB, but I am a bit worried about warranty.

Anyone has apple care AU rejected warranty of international model?

  • Is 64gb generally enough for everyday use?

    • Yes. My son's got 32GB and it's fine. Good enough for some spotify music and photos.

Teaches kids to prioritise and manage what they want to keep in phone and what to upload to cloud or delete.

      .

      • how about the software updates…. tell apple to prioritise their customer instead of chasing profit

It's got the latest IOS so it's still getting updates. IOS updates generally supports older hardware compared with Android devices.

Go tell em and let's see if they listen to you… :-)

It's manly for storing recorded or downloading videos (for offline viewing - via WiFi, instead of streaming via 4G) - that takes a lot of memory.

    • Depends on how much of a meltdown you want to have when your internet doesn't work for whatever reason and you can't get at your cloud storage.

    • for teens - NO

      • It's a question not a statement…

Anyone purchased from them and can confirm the tax invoice has GST?

        .

        • I can say no to both. The latter is because they do not have an Aust ABN (that I can see on their web site).

  • anyone got PB successfully from officeworks? cheers

    • no they dont price match on overseas websites

  • I would buy this just for the physical dual sim not the sim + eSim
