15% off Mattresses Boxing Day 2nd Chance @ Koala

100
BXGDAY2NDCHANCE

Asked if they would match the 20% boxing day deal and gave me this 'sneaky second chance' at 15% off all items. This does not stack with the $100 off for signing up that they offer.

Unsure of exact expiry.

Glad someone is doing something about the Koala problem and making mattresses out of them now. I just hope the bed doesn't smell like eucalyptus and give me chlamydia.

How about covid? Mattresses are now made in China.

They should probably change the name to Panda Mattresses.

Pffffttt China. Its Azerbaijani governments implanting 5G chips in the guise of COVID viruses you should be worried about.

We've nearly wiped out the koala chlamydia problem; no koala habitat = no koalas = no koalas with chlamydia

Not great future prospects then for this company with no supplies.

At least there are plenty of sleeping ducks to cover the short fall.

    • This might trigger some but the reality is there's actually not much covid in China now, been that way for months. It's US and UK that have taken this pandemic to another level.

Don't confuse reported cases with actual cases

        • -2

Of course reported cases are not necessarily the same as actual cases, which is why I have been keeping social distance even when Sydney was reporting zero cases. With so many exemptions it was always naive to expect quarantine to be bulletproof. But I doubt the difference between reporting cases and actual cases is significant enough to justify thinking covid is now worse in China than in US/UK.

Not publishing the numbers doesn't mean it's not there.

    • Bought one last week, still Australian made stock

      • how can you tell? aussie made label?

        • Yes, there is a label on the mattress saying manufactured in Australia.

Dad bought one of their armchairs to try, that label is something like "Designed in Australia, Made in China"

Anyone planning on purchasing a bed base, just a heads up. I bought one when it was 15% off few weeks ago and there's a color mismatch between panels. I sent them an email about it and they acknowledged discoloration issues, sent replacement frames a week later, which still had color mismatch. See images below.

It's a low bed, quite sturdy and easiest thing to put together. overall love the design, just the color issue has put me off. While it's not going to be visible once you put mattress on it, it definitely stands out.
