I don't think these are value for money. Buying them seperately would probably amount to that much… I think they've picked books in the bundle that are overpriced for what they are.
If you're looking for good christmas gifts, Amazon.co.uk has free shipping for orders over 25pounds. For that, I bought three books Eg Rick stein's far eastern odyssey (one of the best asian cook books ive seen), jamie's 30min meals and nigella lawson's domestic goddess. At 5-10 pounds each book, they're a lot better value for money. I think these books are overpriced because they're relatively recent and celebrity chef endorsed.
