not sure if I need to Neg this or not as despite their website showing availability they actually dont have any on hand at the moment .$299 has been around for some time with them now but you have to wait for them to get the stock available first .you can ofcourse purchase this but you will have NO change in status of your order and there is no customer service to deal with .do yourself a favour and try to call their number and you will hear that due to COVID their customer service is un-manned ! .

Same situation here. Ordered when it was 24hr dispatch, no update until I emailed after three days and they said it's not in stock…this was 2 weeks ago. They've since changed it to back-order after many attempts of asking them to update it.

I hate that the front page shows the support email but it's actually just an image and you can't copy paste or click it (the smallest of my issues with them, but meh)

same here. ordered almost 2 weeks ago along with other components all tagged as 24 hour dispatch. Emailed after 3 days and was told it's a 3-5 day dispatch for the 3600. Sent them screenshots they're selling it as 24 hour dispatch. Followed up after a week and was given the same 3-5 day dispatch. Told them they were still advertising it up until earlier this week as 24 hour dispatch. They've changed it this week to 3-5 days dispatch. Still no progress on the order up until now.

That's scarily the same situation as me…responses from both sides and all

        • just got notification that my order has been finally dispatched. fingers crossed. hopefully you get yours dispatched too.

          • @pitz: I went and bought it locally. Got a return vis auspost already in the works, they said they'll refund. Ended up paying more, but this is my last weekend off work and it's been 3 weeks. At the same time, I feel like I could sell it at cost as I'm sure someone would be quite happy for a $370, 3600 + ds3h

  • the only difference is the fan if not OC?

  • +2

Better to get the Tray version and use the difference towards a better thermal paste + cooler as the Wraith Stealth gets loud if noise and temps are concerned.

    • -1

lol, better get the 2nd than the tray version

    • +3

Eh, disagree. For only $15 more you get the peace of mind of knowing you have manufacturer warranty + the cooler as a backup

      • +1

Does the tray version not have warranty?

        • Store page for onlinecomputer tray version specifies one year warranty.

          • -1

@Abaddon: If a CPU needs warranty it's because it's DOA. Incredibily unlikely your CPU will fail after working fine for a year, unless you've done something like unsafe overclocks, or expose it to extreme heat - which for both cases a warranty wouldn't cover it anyway

You're free to pay extra for warranty etc, but just beware it's an idiot tax and we did tell you so.

  • If anyone needs to pick up a motherboard this is good value.

  • Ordered on 30/12 and was told would be stock this week but now confirmed didn't come in.

    • Yep. I ordered on the 27th and have the exact sane thing

  • Ordered on 29/12 and they said the CPU will come on 06/01 but still waiting till now.

    • Yep I ordered on the 27th and was told that they were getting stock on Wednesday. But haven’t had any updates since

Hmm… If this deal isn't even local stock and you are willing to wait till Feb, you may as well just get it from Amazon US via AU, currently $285.69 delivered with Prime.

  • Ordered on 31/12 and after then no more update. Had to cancel this morning. The refund was quite fast though.

If you prefer the Australian retail box packaging stock, then it's cheaper delivered here at $305.10 from Computer Alliance, https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/173956936736 , if you are an eBay Plus member (using "PLUSJY10" code).
