    I think that 1200W is PMPO. I got a Kitchen Aid mixer and at the time there was a choice of another, think it was Kenwood brand… which supposedly was more powerful, yet could do less. Asked on their comments page to explain this. They just deleted my question…

  It says rated at 1000W, max 1200W. Doesn’t that just make it a 1000W unit, same as the others?

    I think the 1000w is the true figure - maybe it can occasionally peak at 1200w. These units are all over ebay etc and all look to be the same basic model and specs.

        Wrong on both. Still in stock on Auspost and the specs on the one posted here say:

        "Features
        1000W high power

        Rated Power: 1000W
        Max Power: 1200W"

        So its actually 1000W and is identical to the one posted here.
