$139.40 according to brickhawk. $149 is matching Kmart's price.

The wheels don't look right on this set.

Yes the photo on the front of the box was done to make it less awkward, it’s not a pretty model

Overall not a great value set, a lot of the price goes towards Top Gear licensing. 547 pieces is pretty puny for $149 (or RRP $199). Car drifts to the right according to some reviews. One telltale sign is how rubbish it looks before stickers.

    • In other words, 'ambitious but rubbish' :)

Of course it's a low piece count. Smaller motorised cars always are. At that scale you either have a motor, or working pistons etc.. can't fit both.

Part of the price is the new style motor with app control, too.

You'd compare it to their other similar sets. Generally with the old power functions motor, you'd be looking at smaller sets which go to $99 on sale (occasionally lower). So $130 for the bigger set with a better motor would be a good price imho. Ie: $150 isn't amazing but it's also not terrible.

  • 1 have one already build will glad to sell it.

I bought this when it was $139. Not a good set. Looks derp and motor system is rubbish. Sold the motors and remote bit and free built a better model.

Considering the mould king off road buggy exists for the same price has 4x the parts and has a significantly better remote/drive system its hard to choose this genuine Lego.
