    Read before purchasing from Banggood

I received a delivered email this morning. No parcel came. I've lost $60.

Banggood have a bad history of being dodgy I have had it happen to me I won't buy from them ever.

    • +2

Can you not find out who was supposed to have delivered it and follow it up with them?

Even if it is a non tracked small item delivered through Aust Post the postman where I am will take a photo of the package in the postbox or left near the door. However, if someone has nicked a non tracked item before or after delivery, I don't think you have much recourse.

      That sucks :(

I have done several orders through banggood without any major issues, they are like ebay where you have different sellers so experiences will vary.

I'd always suggest paying with a credit card or paypal so you have another avenue of resolution if your order never arrives.

    Sorry this is off topic.

They won't tell me who the final courier is. I have two ring cameras out front plus a ring 2 doorbell by the letterbox. I have reviewed all the footage for the day (I was home all day). No deliveries, no letters. Tracking no AS161196670CN. I love the way there is 13 minute gap between in transit from Sydney to delivered to Qld.

Did you pay with a credit card or with paypal?
If so you may be able to raise a dispute and get a refund.

    • I suspect your package would come via Aust Post, as China Post would be taking advantage of the international agreements giving them cheap postage, which Aust Post is obliged to honour. The fact that they won't divulge the courier is also suspicious to me, they don't want you to talk to anyone.
I think they have lost it and are concocting a story. Perhaps talk to your local Aust Post delivery centre for some clues.

      • Will do. Thanks

        • +1

You're welcome. Another possibility is is they may have delivered it to the Birkdale LPO, and you may get a card in the post tomorrow telling you to collect it from there.

Sh*t happens we all know that. I was just shocked to see their policy written out saying that it's not their problem if parcels don't arrive. I'll give it a few days and talk to PayPal.

    • +1

Yes it is a bit of a shock seeing them state they accept no responsibility.
I think you have to hedge your bets when ordering anything from overseas.

  • They had a video posted online of their manufacturing process… Also why can't they put more ram in these cheapies… Make it a little more exp.

    • +1

Mate, if they make it a little more expensive no one will buy it. 4GB RAM is enough for normal use.

      • -1

Man I had a phone with 3GB before it got slow as hell with newer app updates… 4GB is like bare minimum. My phone usage is fairly average and I see it currently using 5.2 GB memory.
